One morning I was walking to my car and heard a hissing sound coming from my deck. Not the ideal way to start a weekday morning! I knew I had at least 1 raccoon living down there based on a cursory check but little did I know what lay in store for me. All attempts to flush them/him/her out - coyote urine, coyote sounds, spray from the hose, pokes with a hockey stick - were unsuccessful. Enter Rob. Rob initially attempted the same style of removal as I had but was also unsuccessful. We eventually had to remove individual planks from the deck and take out raccoons one-by-one by hand. Momma raccoon was not pleased with us and put up a pretty good fight but we eventually got them all out. Rob went above & beyond, even returning to my property same day when momma came back to retrieve a final kit that we missed on the first pass. The removed deck planks were carefully reinstalled and he also provided & installed additional raccoon-proofing for the deck (e.g. metal mesh). The quoted rates were also very reasonable compared to some of the other pest places that I called. I would absolutely call him again should we find ourselves with a new pest problem.
We had a mouse problem at a home we were looking after. I called Rob and he gave specific instructions, over the phone, to help deal with the problem until he could come over. I followed his instructions and we were able to mitigate the problem quickly. He is very kind and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to call him with any pest concerns in the future. Thanks Rob!
A few days ago, I heard a creature was scratching above my head from the attic. Something must have penetrated into my attic. Perhaps Racoon? I called Pest Maven and Rob and a gentleman (Was it Matt?) showed up at my door next day which was Saturday as it was not an emergency. Rob examined the situation from outside and inside (went into attic where it is full of fibre blown in). He quickly determined it was squirrle coming in through the venting shade. He photographed the trace creatures in the attic (they were all out when he went in) and installed aluminum screens in two potential entries. Rob showed courtesy to remove his boots when entering the house and clean up all his work as well. While he is working on it, the other fellow found a wasp nest on a side of my house and he terminated it as well. Their rate was very competitive and over all I was satisfied and had the peaceful day afterward. Thank you Rob.
