I cancelled my service in December. They said I was under the protection plan and would be charged nothing but was covered until March. Yesterday their tech said she was coming for a service. I said no I am cancelled. I need nothing. She came anyway. They charged me $142. I called to find out what happened. They said a branch manager spoke to me and said I agreed to reinstate my plan. I never agreed to this. If I could give them a zero I would.
I’ve been using Saela for a few years now and they do a great job! Karen is always respectful and kind. I appreciate that she gives me notice before arrival and always shares what new services are available!
You have to be careful with this place and question everything they offer or claim to find during any inspections. They try to find any reason to upsell additional services, every visit.Once we paid for “dryer duct cleaning” because it was $80, I thought what a deal… I watched the tech dust 6 inches with a feather duster and call it good. What a waste that was.They’ve said we have gaps in the walls and siding where pests can enter (offered to spray gap filler for $200 LOL). I inspected after and found nothing.They’ve said we have termites, and offered to fix that for a high price plus monthly fees. It never ends.They said they found rat poop around the house and recommended treatment— we’ve never had such an issue. It’s all lies to get more money out of you.Very scammy and these practices definitely prey on the homeowners they service for pest control.It’s shameful that this behavior is encouraged in their techs (always a different tech, too). Needless to say we’ll be going elsewhere. They’ve repeatedly shown us that they cannot be trusted.Spiders are gone though.
He was extremely professional. Answered all of my questions and concerns. Made helpful recommendations to maintain a bug free home. I decided to enroll in the maintenance program to ensure creeping crawlers stay at bay. I highly recommend Saela Pest Control you are treated great from the initial phone call through the end of the first service.
