I had trouble with my original tech, but those things happen. What I was impressed by was Orkin's ability to send out somebody else (Angel) who gave fantastic service, I'm glad I gave them the chance to fix it, Angel was great.
I've had service from Orkin since 2021. Termites. They eliminated the pest issues and continue to monitor my home yearly. My Tech, Christian, was friendly, polite and explained everything. I actually look forward to their visit!
I will never do business with orkin again. I have never left a review but the way they handled my account and problems were very unprofessional. I had contact them 2 weeks postpartum for an issue I was having. When I originally called I was told this wasn’t a contract nor an agreement. I would pay month to month and can cancel anytime. When I tried cancelling I was told I couldn’t because it was a contract and I had to be with them till June of 2026. I was already Irritated because I was never made aware of that when I asked for a manager to call me no one ever did. I just spoke with them yesterday and I asked when I was able to cancel guess what they told me I could cancel at anytime . So you’re telling me I could’ve cancelled when I originally called. The customer service part of it is horrible it’s like they don’t notate conversations. They made me pay almost a full year of service I didn’t even want from the beginning it’s ridiculous! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. You’re better off going to another company.
Impressed with Jeff, salesman as well as Austin the person who came out to do the work. Unfortunately there was a water pipe in our bedroom that was drilled through and created quite the water feature in our bedroom. Austin acted quickly but water was running outside through our dining room and our bedroom. The plumbers came and Jack hammered out some of the concrete floor to repair the pipe. The plumbers did mix some concrete and did a rough finish on the patch. It took 2 weeks for the carpet, pad and concrete patch to dry out. Austin did his best to lay the carpet back in place but he is not a carpet layer. I was hoping the carpet would work its way down but that is not going to happen because the carpet is not next to the wall and after 2 weeks needs a carpet installer to get it laid correctly. So, I will be able to review more complete once we know how Orkin will handle the carpet issue.Well we finally got the check to reimburse us for paying the carpet layer. Took about two months but we got it..Jeff did the fup appt today and was very thorough . Rose in the office stated in contact with me to make sure we got the reimbursement check. 4/12/2024
