The service, professionalism, organization and timely matter for dealing with issues from Orkin has been severely lacking.- Orkin came on June 20, 2025 for ant extermination. Technician, Ian, was there less than 15 minutes and did not complete service. Head office sent him back on July 4 to finish the job.- They overcharged me by $235 for carpenter ants, which was confirmed we didn't actually have. They said they would refund immediately. In error they accidently charged me another $235 instead of a refund. When notified, they immediately refunded the $235 error but not the original $235 overcharge.- Multiple emails and phone calls to actually get the refund and I've gotten various answers from multiple staff members.- I was sent a form to fill out so they could direct deposit into my bank account. It was the wrong form which instead authorized more money to be removed, not deposited. When I addressed the inconsistency on the form, Pravalika V, wrote in a email on Sept 24 that a cheque had been written and would be mailed.- No cheque arrived, when I followed up, Pravalika would not reply back to me.- Following a phone conversation with Christian L, on December 15, 2025 the correct EFT form was emailed to me, signed and returned. Email stated I would receive the deposit in 5-10 business days.- January I followed up as there was no EFT refund in my bank account. Emails with Orkin states the money was deposited and confirmed by Head Office that the transaction happened December 31, 2025. When I asked for a copy of the accounting documentation, none was provided and communication stopped.- A cheque arrived in the mail dated January 8, 2026. I deposited it Jan 31 (bank processed Feb 3) and it was returned unpaid due to "payment stopped" and the bank charged me a return fee.- I immediately reached out to Christian L through email stating the current situation and asked for this to be taken to his supervisor or manager on Feb 5. No one has returned emails or phone calls.- As of February 12, 2026 no one has returned any attempts to reach them and I am still waiting for the $235.00 refund nearly 8 months after their billing error.Kristy G- Prince George
Very disappointed with the service. Have been dealing with mice for a few months in our kitchen, after two months of biweekly check ins the mice are still there if not worse. Have emailed them about this concert with no response as well.
Made an appointment over the phone and the technician never showed without calling. After multiple failed attempts to get through to Orkin, the person I had initially spoke to, put me on hold to find out what was going on. The call then failed, and it took me another 10 mins to get through. Finally was able to speak to someone again, and they “couldn’t find the technician, saw that she only had a morning appt that day and had no idea where she was”. She then apologized and told us that she would schedule in an emergency visit for the next day. Yet again, there was a no show. After multiple failed call attempts to get through to Orkin on the phone, the appointment was not made simply because the service manager is on vacation and did not approve the emergency service. I left work early both days and have a busy schedule so this was quite inconvenient for myself and my family. Our whole experience has been incredibly unprofessional and we will be going with a different company if possible.
Quick and efficient, Lindsey our exterminator was cheerful and explained things to us. Didn’t even have to leave the house! Everything was safe as well which was nice with a baby, toddler and 2 cats.
