Andrew with Terminix came out and introduced Terminix to me he is very knowageble, friendly and it was very comfortable talking to him. After telling me all about their services and reviewing my needs he set me up with 12 month plan, the transaction was great he handled it all.Andrew gave me a great price too. The next day Arturo came by he's very personal friendly and answered all my questions and took care of my big Wasp problem I have been having. Arturo did an excellent job paying attention to detail and got rid of all the wasp nest quickly! Awesome Job Arturo! I really appreciate you guys. Garret did an amazing job with bug and insect removal at my house today. He was professional, on time, and clearly knew what he was doing. He took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and made sure the job was done thoroughly.You can tell he actually cares about the quality of his work and the customer experience. I contacted Terminex and Nils (sp?) came out to my home. I VERY clearly told him I was only needing their services each year from May - August for a wasp problem. I didn't want/need year-round service. He ASSURED me that they could accommodate my needs, and all I had to do, after paying the initial fee and the $40 monthly fee for the four months, was to call the office and have my account "Put on hold" during the months I didn't need them. That, he so smoothly lied, would save me from having to pay $40/mo until next wasp season, as well as the $234 start-up fee if I had only signed-up for a one-time treatment. He also assured me that if there were ANY problems, or I needed them to come back out, all I had to do was call and they'd be out IMMEDIATELY. I never signed a contract because their website wasn't working, but I did pay the $234, plus a $40 fee for them to do the initial treatment. After several calls/text messages back and forth with Nils and Andrew (the technician,) but no follow-up on their part, I called the office to ask for help. While on the phone with the girl, I asked her about their "Put on hold" policy. She said she'd never heard of that, and put me on hold while she checked into it. She came back and informed me there was no such policy. By this time, due to the lack of follow-up, shady behavior and the lies, I was livid. I asked her to have management call me. She said I would hear from them in 2-3 days. I NEVER heard a word from management. BTW, Nils kept texting me saying he would call me (3x,) but I never responded to him, and he never called. While they did refund my $40 payment, they have never addressed the reasons why I was trying to get them to return to my home after the initial $234 payment and wasp treatment. They, apparently, think it's ok to use any means necessary (lies) to rope a new client into a contract (which was never signed.) I would never have expected this type of behavior from such a well-known business.
