Nate was an absolutely amazing pest control person for our job. His diligence, care, and attention to detail was impeccable. While the job was beyond the scope of his work, Nate was determined to help us find a solution. The job ultimately is going to need both pest and a building contractors work, Nate made the whole process much better and reassured us that what we were experiencing was not normal and needed to be rectified. I’ve been with Pest Control Center for years now and I’ve been extremely happy with the service in the field by James Garrett, as well as the office staff for scheduling and billing, etc.Twice I’ve been able to send a picture of a particular bug and received a quick response as to what it was and get treatment or recommendations specific to that insect.The last time, it was a termite, which I’d never actually seen before!After starting a planned bathroom remodel we determined that I had a long running shower pan leakage with lots of dry rot under my 72-year-old house. Paul Cervantes came out and inspected. I had to start restoration of the wood under the house and he began treatment immediately around the house and under the bathroom. He was extremely knowledgeable and good at explaining to me what the subterranean termites’ habits were and how to get rid of them. After doing a full treatment as my remodel crew started a full (and revealing) teardown of the shower and floor, we discovered more termites and some problems unique to houses built in the early 50s.Paul come back out (within an hour of me calling despite that he was in Woodland and I’m in Sacramento) and did a little more investigating. He found that the perimeter stucco on my old house went down below the soil 5 inches and it had a 6” by 6” stucco footing that was blocking the chemical treatment from reaching the soil along the foundation where the termites were entering. He did another treatment drilling deeper down (covered under their warranty) and termites are now all gone. Paul will be treating the new wood with a termite resistant formula before remodel begins.I feel both Paul and James have pride in their work, knowledge (Paul mentioned a continuing educational workshop he had just attended) and a sense of urgency. I’ll be having James out for an attic rodent inspection next week now that I know critters are helping themselves to my home.
Had a great experience with Pest Control Services, especially our technician Dusty. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable about exactly what needed to be treated and how to treat it. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Since his visit, we haven’t had any pest problems at all. Highly recommend Dusty and this company!
Pest Control Service is amazing! Their office staff is kind and easy to work with, and our service technician, Andrew, is a gem. He takes the time it takes to be warm, friendly, always knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions I have. They use environmentally friendly products that are safe around my home knowing that I have small kiddos, pets, and chickens. The treatments are effective and we always have very minimal to no creepy crawlies in and around our house which gives me a lot of peace. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Pest Control Service. If you’re thinking about hiring a company, this is definitely the one I would 12/10 recommend.
