Very pleased to have selected Rowland Pest Services! Very professional but at same time accomodating to client's needs! Juan C. was very knowledgeable and understanding of our needs. Bugs will always be around but with Rowland as part of my team we will keep them at bay and under control! Also, keep my hearing healthy too (my wife screaming when she sees a bug is scary sInce noise level is above 125db!!). Many thanx!!

Upon discovering an animal living in the attic of a tenant occupied property (later discovered to be a raccoon), I called Rowland since I had a good experience in the past with rodent removal and exclusion in a different property. Unfortunately it was one of the worst decisions I’ve made when it comes to dealing with my rental business. Maybe Rowland is getting to be too big of a company to where they are unable to be responsive and provide simple customer service. Initially the technician was nice when giving a quote but failed to tell me that some of their technicians do not have safety equipment in order to do the necessary job that was required to seal up the entry points near the roof. He also failed to tell me it would take 5 business days before they could even get to the job and then another week after that because the technician canceled on my job. Rowland communicated when eventually they did end up visiting the property to start the trapping process - I would get texts and automatic emails but that is all I can say that was positive. The manager also was helpful at certain points of the process when the HOA got involved but then eventually went silent and I am still waiting on a response to an email I sent requesting confirmation that the job was completed. Here are a few notes as to why I would never use or recommend Rowland to work with:
1. It took roughly two and a half weeks until they could even start the trapping process (meanwhile the animal could have died in the attic creating even bigger issues for being able to remove a dead carcass).
2. On the initial appointment day to start the process, the technician canceled saying he had a family emergency stating that he would have someone reach out and reschedule). Several business days of silence passed until I finally reached out to a manager and asked if anyone was ever going to reschedule. The manager used the excuse that she could not reschedule quickly because their technicians did not have safety equipment to complete the job. (I wish I knew that was a thing before I even moved forward with choosing Rowland). She eventually got me on the schedule for several business days later.
3. My tenant informed me that they heard loud screaming coming from the trap. Since I was out of town for a long work assignment, I was not in Florida to check for myself. It is currently March 5, 2026 and I have yet to receive any picture evidence or communication showing that the animal was successfully trapped and exclusion process completed. All I have to make that assumption is my tenant letting me know about the noises.
4. Rowland made me a complete joke with my HOA manager and with my tenants. I defended Rowland early on in the process since I had had a good experience. My HOA manager wanted me to use another company and I fought to use Rowland. Now I look like a complete joke and highly unprofessional landlord because I cannot provide any clear evidence that the job was completed other than guessing.
5. It is March 5th and I have yet to receive any communication from the technicians or the manager of evidence the job was completed. Note that I originally signed the quote for Rowland to complete the job on January 27th. Rowland has since sent their invoice but has not responded to texts or emails asking a simple request of job completion evidence.

This has been a completely discouraging, stressful, and utterly ridiculous experience working with Rowland. I am disgusted with myself that I thought I could trust them to hire them a second time.

Would not recommend, I can’t speak of the quality of their work. However, my experience is that they are a sales team FIRST who charges different prices to each customer based on how much they are willing to pay for monthly services. My service/sales guy was Ryan. The office rep and sales rep were on completely two different pages for the same service with two totally different prices, then was told.. hey, we lower the prices depending on your situation? What? Why not have a flat cost for service?? I got the vibe and feeling this company is not customer first so I didn’t use their services. Just felt like a very shady company with how they chose to do business.

I've been very pleased with Rowland Pest Management. The communication is stellar. They call the day before to remind me of my appt. Then the tech texts me to let me know he's on his way. They are friendly, professional, helpful, & thorough. I haven't seen a creepy crawler since the first treatment. Highly recommend.
