In April, due to a rodent problem and flea issues at my apartment and no pest control service (Terminix failed to show up for 8 months) I called PestPractice. The owner/proprietor/technician, Jerry seemed professional... fooled again!I signed up for a full-time service contract with PestPractice for the year. Jerry enthusiastically signed me up and took my money, saying that he will be returning in early June to reset the rodent traps stating that he noticed RAT droppings in the attic and multiple insect issues.Well, June came and went. Today is July 11th. My cats have fleas for the first time since we moved here, as Terminix was professional up until 2023.I tried to call Jerry several times yesterday and today. NO ANSWER! I tried signing up for an online account but I was blocked from doing so because I couldn't locate my service receipt with my account number! I will be contacting the Attorney General once I find my copy of the service contract with PestPractice.What did I pay over $350 for? One rat trap, 2 sticky mouse traps? A MAJOR RIP OFF. I'm totally disgusted with the pest control services in this area. Take your money and run!
Used Dunmore Pest Control once about a year ago. Was happy with the treatment. I called 3 days in a row to set up an appt for a treatment. Got voice mail saying “we are open & a technician will get back to you.” I left my info. Never received a call back. Bad business practice.
These guys are awesome! Technician was out in 20 mins. Huge bee problem! Two of the biggest nests one will ever see! Did an awesome job!
Last fall, I had an issue with paper wasps. They came right out and took care of the issue very quickly. The wasps were dead, and I was highly satisfied. However, the salesman who did my initial assessment told me about their quarterly services. He advised last fall that for an additional fee at that time and a small charge each quarter, a technician would come to my house and spray. Well, I have tried, I mean REALLY tried, for weeks to get these people to come back to my house but they have been giving so many excuses. To be honest, I'm sick of calling the owner and being told someone will call me and that "someone" never does. So...yeah, the guy last fall (who doesn't work for the company anymore and the phone number on his business card is disconnected) upcharged me for a service I cannot get. I'd love to get that upcharge credited back to my credit card, but based on this company's track record, I highly doubt that will happen. Lesson learned: Don't pay for a future service with Pest Practice.
