Customer feedback is mixed. Positive reviews note punctual arrival, advance calls, and solid workmanship on repairs and replacements. Critical reviews frequently mention billing concerns, including being charged for drive or prep time and time billed in short increments, as well as disputes over faucet installation outcomes. Overall, responsiveness and professionalism are cited by some, while pricing clarity and communication about charges are recurring concerns for others.
Beaverton Plumbing installed our new kitchen faucet. A week later it came loose from the counter BP came back and tightened it. A week later it came loose again. Joel said that it was attached to a flawed cabinet and would have to charge over $400 to fix it. My son came and found that the tightening bolt had excessive grease and got that removed. Also found that the faucet was attached to the quartz counter top which was flat. He got it tightened in 15 minutes.
Jack called me before he arrived, was on time, and did a great job! Definitely recommend!
These guys charged me for their driving time too and I was not informed about this when the appointment was booked. And, the repair guy takes his own time, spending time in talking and hanging out even after the repair. Then, they surprise you with huge bill because they charge by 15 minute increments of their time.Don't use this company if you want fair value for your money. It's a rip off
It was my experience with this company that unless you enjoy being lied to and scammed you should call an honest plumbing company.I was quoted $225 an hour for my kitchen faucet to be replaced and that it wouldn’t take more than an hour. The plumber (Ben) arrived on time at 9am but spent 15 minutes in the back of his van rearranging it. Little did I know I was being charged for this time. He didn’t being the work until 9:15. He was finished by 10:00. He then told me that he needed to write out my receipt in the van, he did not come out the van until 10:30. ( I thought he was eating some lunch or something). He then charged me an additional $176.00 for the extra half an hour that he spent “writing out the receipt” which should have taken him 2 minutes. He said he worked from 9-10:30. In reality he worked 45 minutes.I can’t think of a more blatant scheme. I then spoke with the owner and he straight out told me I was lying when I sat on my front porch and watched Ben dilly dally in his van. Had I known that I was being charged $176 for this I would’ve definitely approached him and asked what was taking so long. Be aware. This is a very low game they play..
We have been using Beaverton plumbing for years, they were always the fastest, fairly priced, most professional and thorough shop we've worked with. We've called them for all kinds of jobs, fixing valves, leaks, replacing water heaters etc. A couple of years ago when fixing a leaky valve, they warned us our galvanized plumbing was just about at the end of its life. Sure enough, this year was the year that we needed to have everything replaced. We called Derek, he came over to look at everything, and turned around a competitive quote very quickly. We decided that since we were already replacing all of the water, this would be a good time to also replace some of the old bathroom parts, and we worked with his supplier and got everything scheduled and ordered. The galvanized water replacement was first, the team was, as always, super polite, professional, and wouldn't hesitate to stop and discuss what they were up to. You can stay in the house while they are working (but it is quite loud sometimes), and they turned the water back on before leaving daily so we were never without running water for more than a few hours. They planned out the project so there was always one working bathroom and shower. Once the galvanized piping was replaced, the delight was immediate - great water pressure, the water tasted 100X better, and, of course, no leaks! In retrospect it totally makes sense, but at the time, I was surprised at the amount of holes in the walls as a result of removing all of the bath stuff and piping in the house, and was wondering if I should have gone with GC to coordinate everything. Fortunately, Derek knows a lot of skilled people, and he set me up with a sheetrock expert, where in the end, the repaired areas look better than than it did originally. After getting through the water replacement and going into the bathroom upgrades, we hit a delay with one of the bath parts that would have set the project back quite a bit. Derek, again, was on the ball, and went over several options with us, ultimately guiding us to working with NW Total Home on bathroom tiles over the fiberglass insert that was on delay. I couldn't be happier with this move, the bathroom looks fantastic. Derek was super thoughtful about his advice, shared what he did with his bathroom, and gave me a couple of options for shops to work with. While this switch did delay the scheduling a bit, Derek and his team were super flexible and worked around the scheduling dates of the other contractors. As soon as a contractor finished, his crew would be in the next morning. His crew must like working there, there were guys that came in that had worked on some of our galvanized issues years before. They were a pleasure to have in the house, and would stop and discuss options to make sure everything was perfect for us. Little things, like adjusting the shower head height, or the best place to relocate the toilet (we had to move it over from the shower to be code compliant). They would share pros and cons, and tell you how they would do it in their own home. They would give us a heads up via text when they were on their way. When "old house" stuff came up as they removed the old bathroom parts (like weak subflooring), they did the extra and made everything better than they found it.I thought needing our roof replaced was a big job, but that was Little League compared to replacing all of the water in your house. Beaverton Plumbing AKA New System knows their stuff. I would absolutely use them again, though, I don't feel like I am going to have any water problems for quite a while, I might just need to invite them to BBQs.
