Current review (12-23-2025):The actual repair was much quicker than previously estimated and finished on 12-10-2025! Which was great for us.Install went well and things are fine, I don't have the eyes to fully verify everything but for what they installed it looks like it was very nicely isolated to make future maintenance a breeze.We had a slight miscommunication on what was included in the quote which may be my fault for not verifying -- locally thought certain repairs were mentioned as being in the quote but did not end up in the quote and paid a bit extra at install to get those repairs done. Which added $1k to the ~14k bill (note this is replacing a 150,000 BTU unit that heats all units in a 4-plex condo).Williams was very leniant on our return timeline for space heaters they loaned (one of my neighbors kept their heater for quite a while).12-01-2025 (3 stars):During the initial visit it was mentioned "replacement would likely occur 2 weeks from when the estimate is accepted". We accepted the quote on 11-18-2025 and just got word on 12-01-2025 of: "Currently, we are looking at scheduling the work for around the first week of January". Unfortunately we did not further clarify timeline during quote acceptance, but a jump from a tentative 2 weeks to potentially 8 weeks was unexpected.Review from 11-11-2025 (5 stars):Dylan helped me, he got down to the root cause of the issue quickly and communicated everything well.In the upcoming days/weeks I’ll go through quotes for a gas water heater replacement for an older unit and will update my review to reflect that experience!
At 3:00 pm on a Friday, at the tail end of a snow storm, my water heater died and leaked water all over the floor. I called Williams Plumbing and Travis was here within an hour, shut off gas and water, set up drainage for the remaining water in the heater. First thing Monday morning he was back with a new water heater, which he had up and running before noon. Everyone I dealt with at Willams was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and helpful. Highly recommended!
