Called the otter guys to get an estimate on duct cleaning. While scheduling, also set up a maintenance schedule for our business for the future. The free estimate for the duct cleaning was scheduled for the next day. Kenny and Caleb were AWESOME! While they were at the office, I expressed a smell that was coming from one of our closets. Not only did they find it was coming from insulation behind our HVAC unit, they removed it! They were only supposed to be here for the estimate. Pricing for the maintenance schedule is very reasonable! We will be using Otter Guys for any of our plumbing and HVAC needs! Highly recommend!

Communication was clear from the start, letting us know specific arrival times and direct communication from the plumbers themselves when they were on the way.When Ty and Don arrived, they were kind and easy to interact with. They took the time to communicate clearly through every step: diagnosing the problem, explaining what was going on, what the potential issues were, and what needed to happen moving forward. They educated us about the situation instead of just telling us what to do.Pricing was communicated clearly the whole way through. We were given all the pricing options, what they suggested, and why. Everything felt transparent and straightforward, and we didn’t feel pressured to do more than was necessary, like we’ve felt with other contractors.They were also more than happy to communicate directly with our insurance company, which was huge for us and meant we didn’t have to be the middlemen.Overall, it was an honest, professional experience, and I would absolutely recommend them. Our HVAC system went out on the coldest day of the year following a snowstorm. The customer service associate at The Otter Guys was very friendly and helpful. Due to the weather, the best projection was two days. She kept in contact with me and was able to schedule Andrew to assess our system. Andrew was very professional and walked me through the issue. Due to the extent of the repair, we decided to purchase a new system. Andrew presented multiple options and worked with us to stay our price range. Great first impression!
Nathan was very friendly and helpful explaining with a Picture recap on his Tablet of everything he tested. The office customer service was friendly and helpful setting up the appointment and they had no problem getting me on the schedule one day out.
We switched to the Otter guys after reading their reviews… and I was not disappointed! Nathan was our first tech and he was on time, polite, respectful and skilled. He performed the service quickly and thoroughly and showed me all the results at the end of the appointment. If you are looking for service on your heat pump - this company is a GREAT choice.
