Recent reviews often mention courteous technicians, clear explanations, and thorough follow-up on repair visits. Several customers noted positive experiences with water heater and HVAC-related service and appreciated communication around parts availability. There is at least one complaint about a high estimate and reluctance to source parts, suggesting experiences can vary by technician. Overall ratings skew strongly positive with many comments about professionalism and responsiveness.
If you want an honest estimate and a plumber who respects both you and your home, I strongly recommend choosing a local professional instead of this company. I was quoted $1,800 to replace my entire bathtub faucet system because the technician “didn’t want to go all over town to find a part” and claimed it was too old to repair.I contacted a local plumber afterward. He diagnosed the issue in five minutes, picked up the part at Home Depot, returned within ten minutes, and completed the repair in another ten. The total cost was $100. Amazing that my tub faucet is no longer leaking.Customers deserve accurate assessments, qualified technicians, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, my experience with this company showed the opposite. I regret doing business with them, and they should be concerned about how their practices reflect on their professionalism and integrity.
My experience with W. E. Brown was outstanding. They fixed a leak in my tank-less water heater at an affordable price. Both men, I think names are Josh and/or Joshua, were professional, informative, and friendly. I recommend their service to anyone who needs plumber services & wants a job well done.
Brian and his helper(sorry, forgot his name) came three times to get my furnace back up and running. Throughout my encounters with them, they were professional, courteous and apologetic when they didn't have parts on hand and needed to order them. They stayed with the job in hand until the furnace was functioning as it should, which, given the impending snow storm, was very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch, Brian!
WE Brown is new to me. I've been looking for a new plumber, and a scare with our 35 years old hot water heater sent me out with the purpose of finding them. I knew that WE Brown had a good reputation and was still locally owned, both of which appealed to me. I met with Mckenzie Martin, who was incredibly thorough, direct, and very pleasant. His men arrived today with the HW heater, a natural gas Direct Vent, and a replacement pressure tank for the well. They were prompt, professional, and treated our home respectfully. We also signed up for their maintenance agreement for the systems, and I believe we will be happy to have done so.
We became W.E. Brown customers after our previous HVAC provider was purchased by a national, private-equity backed corporation because we wanted to stay with a local company. We have a service contract with W.E. Brown and couldn't be happier with our experiences to date. They are honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and have excellent customer service. Recently, we had our semiannual HVAC maintenance appointment and were very impressed with our HVAC tech, David. He was a true professional, very knowledgeable and went the extra mile by bringing an unrelated dryer vent problem to our attention, which we greatly appreciated. As a customer, I wish there were more companies out there that held themselves to the high standards that W.E. Brown holds itself to.
