When I needed two identical smart toilets installed, I had a unique opportunity to compare two very different approaches to the same job. One installation was completed by a large, manufacturer-recommended installer, while the other was completed by this Maryland based Pluming Mastered.
The difference was glaringly notable.
Rather than simply installing the fixture and moving on, Don took the time to understand how I planned to use it and asked about my preferences before making final decisions. Because of that conversation, he positioned the toilet so routine maintenance, like accessing the water filter and battery backup, is simple and practical. It was clear he was thinking beyond the installation and considering the long-term ownership experience.
What impressed me even more was what happened after the job was finished. A few days later, we discovered an issue with a newly installed French drain that had nothing to do with his work. He stopped by anyway, walked me through an easy fix at no charge, and gave me practical advice on what to do next. He didn't have to do that, but he did.
It's rare to find someone who combines technical skill with genuine customer care. He communicates well, thinks through the details, and treats your home as if it were his own. That's the kind of professional I want to work with, and I'll gladly call him again for future plumbing projects.
I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber who values craftsmanship, problem-solving, and customer service, not someone begrudgingly getting the job done.

Highly recommend Plumbing Mastered. Don was knowledgeable, polite, professional, and very informative.

Had just received a nightmare quote from a large plumbing chain. High prices and not being truthful to try to get us to buy a new water heater. Plumbing Mastered saved the day for sure. Don came out and was able to knock out the work same day.

Without trying to sell me anthing Don was taking the time and pointing out things to me about my home that both a home inspector and that other plumbing company estimator had missed.

Definitely using them in the future ourselves and recommend giving them a try!

Don walked us through the entire process—explaining how long the project would take, calling the morning of to suggest we fill our tubs so we could still flush toilets during the work, and letting us know exactly when the new 75-gallon tank would be ready and when our hot water would return. Everything he said was accurate and on point—the timeline he gave us was spot on!

I highly recommend Plumbing Mastered—not just because they are Black-owned, but because their pricing was lower than most competitors, and they delivered efficient, high-quality work. I will definitely utilize Plumbing Mastered for future plumbing needs.

Don from plumbing mastered has help me during difficult times. When I had sympathetic flushing and didn’t know what was happening his company showed up the next day and help me before a disaster. He also helped me with the replacement of my water heater that was over 20 years old. Now that I’m having sewage spillage he made sure to find the blockage, prevent further water damage, fixed my shower faucet, and help me identify a plan forward to save my house. I can’t recommend this company enough. 5 stars excellent plumber and great service.
