We had Alex come by to take a look at 4 different plumbing issues. He provided an assessment for each one and was honest about what could be fixed and what could not. All 4 times would be more effective to replace, or wait until it breaks and then to repair it. He gave us a few things we could consider and also helped us identify root cause of where all the plumbing issues are stemming from. I appreciated his candor and will definitely be having him come back when it is time to replace.
My Danville home's guest bathroom's toilet had a large leak. After I called Alex, he came to inspect it on the same day and recommended replacing it because it was located below a vanity extension with too narrow a gap in between so that the toilet would have to be taken out before the bulky "ecoflush" system could be replaced, hence repairing it would make no sense economically. Among the available toilets at Home Depot that could fit into the tight space, Alex considerately recommended one with easier access to tank components so that I would be able to replace parts by myself in the future. Although Alex was already fully booked for the next day, since a guest was arriving in two days, Alex kindly agreed to add this as the last job of the next day and came in the evening for toilet replacement plus a minor sprinkler job. We needed an emergency repair in our upstairs bathroom, after calling several companies booking one of them, they were 2.5 hours late, I cancelled. I called Minor Plumbing Services and Alex was not only here quickly but did a phenomenal service in diagnosing and repairing the clogged toilet, leaking from the base to the downstairs laundry room. I will always call Alex at Handyman Solutions for any plumbing issue! Alex is honest, responsive, thorough, conscientious, and excellent at his job! And his rates are reasonable! He quickly fixed a leaky sink that we’d been struggling with for weeks (a different handyman had previously tried to fix it but couldn’t), a tub spout that was jammed (for that one, he had to rig the part himself), and a Grohe faucet head. I wish I had discovered Alex earlier! Highly recommend!!
Alex from Minor Plumbing was awesome - highly recommended! I will stick with him for all plumbing needs going forward.His work is very well finished and clean, and from what I can tell, he has top expertise in plumbing. He is well mannered and well spoken and comes off as very sincere. He came home for a free estimate and even when I showed him other things around the house, he did not oversell. Initially his price seemed high till he explained the reason, which I later confirmed. I did not bargain as his labor seemed to be in line with what most plumbers would charge, but he is well worth it.In my house he changed the Water Pressure Regulator and left the whole setup in a much better condition than the messy original!
