We feel fortunate to have contacted Neighbourhood when our heating/hot water system developed problems. Tiffany arranged for a prompt assessment. Mike diagnosed the problem(s) after a thorough investigation and clearly explained our options and the cost implications of each. Brian and Dave not only completed a meticulous installation of our new combo-boiler system but also went the extra mile to move the new unit to a location which opened up a considerable amount of space in our utility room. Altogether a team of true professionals. We highly recommend the Neighbourhood team to anyone needing help with their home heating system.
Highly recommend. Tiffany was super helpful in sorting out what was wrong (and not wrong) with my furnace, and sent Mike Ashton within a couple of hours without upselling or upcharging. When Mike got here, he was quick to diagnose the issue, fixed it, and even installed an unplanned new thermostat all in one go. Super nice and professional.

Neighbourhood should be your first and only choice for plumbing and heating in Ladner and Tsawwassen.We came to know know Neighbourhood when the owner, Kirby responded to a question we placed on Tsawwassen Loop about gas fireplaces. Kirby’s suggestion worked. We promptly booked Neighbourhood to service both our fireplaces. The technician was very friendly and efficient.In January 2025, our boiler stopped working. Due to our usual plumber not being available, we thought of Neighbourhood. They sent Mike out the same day to see if they could help. This was the coldest spell of weather that winter and we were without heat other than our fireplaces and no hot water. Mike did his best to try and solve the problem with our temperamental European boiler. Due to difficulty in obtaining parts, we were faced with having to replace our boiler at the coldest time of the year. Neighbourhood and Mike put together a quote and were on the job in a matter of days. The installation was quick and minimally disruptive to our daily routine. Unfortunately, problems with the new boiler arose on a couple of occasions and each time Mike responded immediately, dealing with the manufacturer to resolve the problems. Having to replace parts in a new boiler did not sit well with Mike and he convinced the manufacturer that replacement of the unit was the right thing to do. We are now running the new boiler without issue and are grateful we have Neighbourhood to rely on for many years to come.It is the mark of a company that sticks with you when things are not going well and sees things through until you are satisfied. Mike was great to deal with and Neighbourhood’s office manager, Tiffany is also a delight.I highly recommend Neighbourhood Plumbing and Heating.Martin S. Tsawwassen, BC
