They were very clear about how they charge prior to scheduling the appointment. The first technician was pleasant and professional, but was not able to address the thermostat issue on our water heater system. We rescheduled a second visit with Rich, who was very professional and clearly had the experience to determine what needed to be repaired, which he did with expertise. They applied the first "home visit" fee to the second visit and repair, which seemed fair and made the cost reasonable. We will use KCP for our plumbing needs in the future.

Surprisingly, the technician was able to show up the same day without a big fuss, just a couple hours after we made the call. He was polite, thorough, professional, communicated what needed to be done to diagnose the problem well, and made sure we received all of the discounts we had coming. He tested his work when he was finished, then cleaned up, and put things back in order. No one likes to unexpectedly fork out a few hundred bucks for the privilege of flushing the toilet, but we still feel we received our moneys worth given the service we were provided. Kevin Cohen Plumbing will be who we call next time if something like this comes up again.

They were able to get a plumber out right away for a tricky repair job. The plumber, David, was one of the most friendly, professional, and hard-working craftsmen I've ever had in my home. Plumbing is never cheap but they took care to charge a fair price for a full day's work, and were able to help me get in touch with other contractors for follow-up work on the repair. She was knowledgeable and prompt in response to all my questions. Scheduling was easy and the installation was thorough.
