Reviews are mixed, noting helpful communication and courteous technicians on successful service calls. Several customers mention responsiveness for urgent issues, while others report delays, scheduling challenges, and billing concerns on complex drain or sewer jobs. Pricing clarity and follow-through are recurring themes, with positive notes on honesty in repair recommendations for some visits.

?????????? (1-Star Review)

I had an emergency sewer backup and contacted RAM Mechanical for immediate help. They were on site for less than an hour, did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue, and then left to go to another call.

At the time they left:
• The bathtub was full of raw sewer water
• The toilet was overflowing with sewage
• The problem was completely unresolved

Despite this, RAM Mechanical billed me for six hours of labor. When I questioned the invoice, there was zero willingness to work with me, no explanation that justified the charges, and no attempt to resolve the issue properly.

What makes this worse:
• They were scheduled to be on site today at 11:00 a.m.
• They left without fixing anything
• They then said they would only come back after hours at emergency rates
• Communication was poor, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout

I have since hired another plumbing company who:
• Showed up on time
• Cleared the sewer line within an hour
• Charged fairly and transparently
• Actually fixed the problem

I am absolutely astonished at the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service from RAM Mechanical. Being charged six hours to look at an overflowing tub and toilet and then walk away is unacceptable.

I will never use RAM Mechanical again and do not recommend them for any plumbing or heating services—especially in emergency situations.

I used Ram Mechanical after a friend highly recommended them. Reliable, honest, and extremely fair! I called looking for a new hot water tank as mine had quit. I called in to the office and spoke with a nice lady who connected me with the manager after learning my situation. Chase took the time to answer all of the questions I had, and when learning my budget he came up with options that would work for me while still being affordable! The technician Jesse was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable.

This company is based out of St. Albert, they have began to set up shop in Fort McMurray. With 1 plumber.

No little resources, available to that person. They came to my house. And didn’t even have a camera to run down the line they had to wait 2 days for a camera to be shipped from Edmonton. There website
State they have a full-service residential service available.

They suggested Steaming the line- with HVAC truck.

Again not something they have readily available in Fort McMurray not having the ability to offer full-service residential service available. So they brought in a HVAC truck. Making a mess in my basement. Worked for maybe 1 hour. Pulled the hvac truck out and said this will not work. We have to rip apart-the finished basement and re pipe it.

So after $5000 nothing was fixed.

Thankfully got a second opinion and the Northern Plumbing and heating a full-service residential service available local to a Fort McMurray came in and Steamed
The line they said could not be cleared.

To those Fort McMurray residence do not call this company they are not fully equipped to serve the community.

Last weekend I found water leaking from the upstairs of my house into the basement, I couldn’t find the leak so I called Ram Mechanical.

The lady on the phone was friendly and told me that she would get a plumber sent out right away. Shortly after I got a call from Nathan and he was on the scene quickly.

Nathan was awesome, found the leak quickly and got everything fixed up properly, he was also really friendly and knowledgeable making the whole process nice and painless.

The price was also very reasonable considering that it was a weekend and an after hours call out.

Nathan also called me the next day to make sure that everything was good which was greatly appreciated.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ram Mechanical and Nathan to anyone needing plumbing work done.

Very impressed with the service I received from Ram Mechanical. They replaced my 41 year old furnace. I did not need a new furnace, just a valve replacement and they were more than willing to do just that. They did not try to talk me in to getting a new furnace. I made that decision on my own, based on the age of my furnace. That in itself says a lot about a company. The price was the most reasonable of other companies and there were no hidden costs. The clean up the guys did was far more than I expected. I would highly recommend them.
