When my water heater gave up during a cold snap, I was stuck. After being ghosted by several other companies, I called True North Mechanical. Their coordinator was incredibly empathetic to help. An hour later, they confirmed they could fit me in that same day. By evening, I had a brand new tank installed, the old one was gone, and the workspace was spotless. Thank you, True North Mechanical you guys are outstanding!

I recently purchased a new home and it had a very old hot water tank in it. It was noticed that the tank was about to die, being proactive - we contacted a contractor to assist with replacement.

The reception of the call was very polite, kind and informative. The process was very quick. I was provided a cell number to send over some photos to assist with the quote. In a very short time after sending the photos, I was provided a comprehensive quote. I had a few questions, which were answered professionally.

Once the decision was made to go ahead with the service, I confirmed the quote on Tuesday evening. The parts and tank were ordered the next morning and service was booked for Thursday at 8:30am.

The gentleman (Greg) showed up on time, and began work right away. The old tank was very old and hard to drain, but he took care of it. I was not at home, and he kept me informed via text as the work was on going. I made some additional requests for draining a catch pan to a specific location and he accommodated the request. Greg also had to deal with a small hiccup of the vendor providing him some incorrect connections to the pan, which happens. He took care of the mishap and was in and out in only a few short hours.

We upgraded from a 28 year old 50 gallon tank, to a new 75 gallon. Greg took the time to ensure that he cleaned up behind himself, including mopping the floor and taking away every last piece of trash.

When I arrived at home, there was zero trace of his presence other than the new tank with nice clean and plumb connections to the gas, the venting and draining.

He was able to get the furnace back up and running with a temporary fix, we decided we wanted to replace the old furnace. They had two techs back the next morning and installed the new furnace.
