I've been hesitant for quite some time to post a review for Silvertip but finally am because I felt the need to be honest.A couple years ago or so, Kevin, one of the plumbers, came to do some work at my house and subsequently at around 1:30am I woke up to carbon monoxide alarms going off. It was scary and stressful and I got my kids into the car and off the property, called the fire dept, ATCO etc, and let him know as well and apparently he had knocked something out of place and caused this to happen.. I didn't tell anyone because he's a nice guy (and we ended up dating/ seeing each other for a few months, long story, and I had to pay him $1230 for a shop trip I changed my mind about going on that I was told would be covered) and anyways mainly I just didn't want to cause any trouble, but felt the need to post this just to tell the truth now as it's been on my mind for quite some time.Nothing was done about this, I had paid full price and no compensation or anything was offered for this carbon monoxide fiasco.I also have felt overcharged by Silvertip big time now after working with a few other different companies locally the price different is pretty significant.
I called Silvertip plumbing and they sent Connor over the following day. Had the pipe connected back to my shower drain fixed in just under an hour. After reviewing the issue Connor knew immediately what to do and was already equipped with the proper parts and tools to get the job done. He invoiced me and I paid him on the spot (VERY reasonable $$) With inflation and the fact that you can't really trust anyone anymore this was very delightful. Silvertip/Connor will be my only call for plumbing needs in the future and I will be referring them to friends when needed. 10/10 service. Thank you.
Top notch plumbing provider, we've had them at both our houses over the years multiple times. The people are all excellent, whether it's the front desk phone, dispatch, sales/quote, and especially the plumbers themselves. Most often Crystal at the house, and always excellent work. Our brief experience with other providers were largely negative, which makes Silvertip seem even more preferable, the courteous service on top of the quality work.Thanks for being there for us over many years and numerous unexpected twists in the work
Very quick, professional and affordable service. I was concerned about my old sump pump. I made a call and the plumber was at my home within 30 minutes, on a Friday afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the issue and changed the pump and plumbing to the outdoor outlet. He gave me some tips to ensure that I can keep my new pump in good working order. Terrific service and I highly recommend Silvertip and their very helpful staff.
From the initial quote to the final installation, the entire experience was exceptional. Kevin, Caitlin, Stephen, and the entire team excel in communication and deliver outstanding work.
