We bought an old fixer upper homestead north of the city last year and have been slowly doing renovations. I had concerns that the septic system and basement floor drains were not funtioning properly.I contacted Kalen to set up an appointment to come scope the system to confirm location of the sewer lines in slab, where it exited the home, were the sewer line connected to septic system, and the current condition overall.Tyler and Travis were dispatched to attend. To my suprise, they showed up ahead of schedule! Both technicians were very polite and professional and got right to work. The evaluation of the plumbing and septic system was completed within 2 hours. I was present during the entire appointment and was able to live view the video feed while Tyler explained what I was looking at which was fantastic!Halfway through the appointment Kalen stopped in to check on the technicians, discuss options face to face, and provided estimates same day.All 3 gentlemen were excellent to interact with. The level of detailed that was provided throughout the whole process really helped me understand where everything was, what condition the plumbing and septic system are in, and given me peice of mind as I move on to the next steps in my renovation adventures.
I am so relieved that my hot water tank did not flood the entire basement. I called Mr. Rooter late at night about 11 and Kalen responded asap to tell me how to shut the gas/water off so it would not continue to leak and so the house was safe. Then he sent Kerry as soon as they opened the next morning (8am) and replaced the hot water tank efficiently and with confidence -- and in a really tight space. I was so impressed with the service. Kerry also noticed that my pressure was too high, so suggested installing a pressure valve as well as updated my gas line shut of to code. Kalen and Kerry were super kind, responsive and easy to work with and understand! Thanks so much for helping me avert disaster!
I am so pleased with the work Kerry Normand and his apprentice did, I highly recommend them! My kitchen sink had a bad leak that I thought I could fix myself (I was quickly humbled) and within 30 minutes of calling they arrived to fix it. The entire plumbing below needed replacing and they were well prepared to do the job on such short notice. It looks great and was done quickly, all while entertaining my questions & humour, giving me helpful tips for the future. (Seriously, thanks for putting up with my jokes) They also cleaned up after themselves which I highly appreciated & yay no more leak! I’ll be calling them for any future problems! Thanks again guys!
Grateful for all the work Mr. Rooter did. I'm not great at keeping up with regular maintenance so when I found a pipe had eroded in my basement from the upstairs bathroom, I knew I needed to call someone. When they arrived they did a full inspection and found a number of other small issues. Water shutoffs that had seized, drains that weren't to code and interestingly I had trouble with. I also new my hot water tank was 11 years old so got a quote. At the end of the day they fixed the major issue, replaced the hot water tank, and did all the drain fixes and replaced taps plus offered a service plan so now hopefully we will catch anything in the future before it's an issue. Kerry and Tyler were amazing on site and Kalen gave us a very competitive estimate and that is what we paid when all said and done. Thank for a the info as you did inspection and explaining everything clearly.
