Tried to use my home warranty to fix my toilet and light my pilot light. I’ve been w/o hot water for over 10 days. Had to wait a week for them to come out. They said we’ll come between 9-5. I waited and took off work in the morning thinking I’ve already waited a week I should be first on the list. No wrong. They didn’t come till like 1:30. I had to go back to work, so I wasn’t home. I left a message to them with my daughter. He looked at my toilet and said I can’t work on that it’s been worked on by someone else. Just because the toilet was lifted off the base. Said it would be against the law. So of course it got denied and now I’ll have to pay out of pocket to get done what my warranty covers. He checked out the water heater and said he could also not touch it as it was not up to code. So still no toilet or hot water. So instead of calling in to make another work order. He said it would be $3,100 to fix water heater. So very disappointing in the time I wasted the money I lost and still don’t have a working toilet or water heater. He seemed genuinely disinterested in helping. But made sure to leave a $200 invoice even tho I went through my home warranty. I would say look for someone else, like Crows plumbing. I used them for my water line break outside. Same day arrival same day repair. Best plumber I’ve had so far.
A tech came out to "fix" a shower issue i was having. After paying for the visit and the tech leaving I was left with the same issue as before not resolved. So I called and asked them to come out again and had another appointment scheduled, but less than 24 hours before the appointment they wanted to push my time slot to later in the day. I just went ahead and just fixed it myself to save on time away from work. Don't waste your time with this company because they will definitely waste yours.Edit to their response: there should have never been a 2nd visit. It was very obvious the issue wasnt resolved on the first attempt and I see that im not the only one with the same issue according to other reviews. You take $ from the customer and the warranty company then make it a circus to actually resolve the problem. You told me it would most likely take 3 visits to actually fix our issue. Completely unacceptable and bad business.
Our toilet tank had a crack. Chris arrived just after lunch with his helper, Chase. They were both courteous and moved efficiently. Chris sent his report to my home warranty company, who turned down my claim as “not normal wear and tear”. He quoted $325 to install the new toilet which I had already purchased. I thought that was rather high, but needed the toilet in that day, so I OK’d the work. They did the replacement in about 20 minutes, left the area clean and took the old toilet away. For professionalism and courtesy, they can’t be beat. Thanks guys.
