The technician arrived on time and replaced two valves for the washing machine and one valve to the house. I was quoted $250 per hour plus parts. The work took approximately 45 minutes, not a full hour, yet I was still charged the full hourly rate.
The total bill was $482.00, broken down as follows:
$250 labor
$207 for three valves, two 90-degree elbows, and approximately two feet of PVC
$25 card payment surcharge
This pricing is excessive and unreasonable, particularly for common plumbing parts. Expectations for this level of pricing were not clearly set upfront. Additionally, the technician stated that he “had to overcharge for parts,” which strongly suggests intentional markup beyond fair pricing.
Overall, the lack of transparency, inflated parts cost, and full-hour labor charge for less than an hour of work make this service feel misleading and overpriced. I would not have agreed to the work had these costs been clearly communicated beforehand. I would not recommend using there services

We have worked with Prince Plumbing for several years now. They are consistently professional, timely, and communicate clearly. They do quality work and are up-front about any challenges or costs. They don't push unnecessary products or work and never use high-pressure upselling. Regardless of who comes out, I have never felt like I was being talked down to (which happens surprisingly often men come to do work at my house and they have to deal with me instead of my husband). I highly recommend them.
