UPDATE:Hiller does want to make things right and told us that they will refund our $87. We appreciate that greatly.Original Review:Connor is an exceptional man, but he shouldn't be an HVAC person. We have a Bosch hvac system. When I called Hiller, I was told that all their technicians know how to work on Bosch. That is NOT the case. When Connor arrived, he told us he didn't know much about Bosch, but that he would figure it out and that he had resources to draw from, so we trusted him. He looked at our system and told us we needed a new compressor, that it would cost us over $5,000 and to talk with his managers about it. We asked him if he was 100% sure and he said yes. We didn't trust that, so we found an expert who deals with Bosch. The new technician from the new company has all sorts of electric testers to test our system. The new technician identified the problem as a compressor board going out and not the compressor itself. That's quite a bit of a change in price. Needless to say, Hiller will not be on our list to call for HVAC issues ever again. I wish Connor well, but he should have been honest and said that he didn't know what he was doing. We ended paying $87 only to leave us in the heat without air.
Sam took only a few minutes to figure out the problem, told me what was wrong and fixed it. It looks fantastic and he also let me know what to watch for and to pay attention to my unit because of its age. He was also very professional and knowledgeable. He was very polite and easy to talk to and answered my questions. Would definitely let him fix any other issues that I have.
My experience with Hiller was very satisfying. In order to meet my schedule the technitian gave up his day off to come work. His work was excellent and I had great confidence the job would be done well. I had a sunroom's outlets rewired, providing one dedicated outlet for a freezer
We have used several AC repair companies in the past, and Hiller is definitely our favorite! Their monthly plan is affordable and have great benefits. I love that you can track the technician so you know exactly when they will show up. Our tech was very helpful and explained things so we could understand.
Ron did an excellent job servicing our hot water heater and replacing our garbage disposal. He was very thorough in presenting options for us to consider and the pro's and con's of each and was able to answer all our questions. I really appreciated that. A very courteous gentleman who was on time and extremely professional. Absolutely represented the company well! Highly recommend Ron and Hiller for all plumbing, electrical and HVAC needs!
