I converted from a propane fueled holding tank for my hot water to an electric hybrid heat pump water heater. Chris and Dan (plumbers) and Bryce (electrician) did an excellent job. Everything was done neatly and the materials and components used are well made. The crew showed up on time and were very respectful of my property. A shower valve was also replaced in my bathroom. I never heard of Heritage Home Service before and glad that they did my job. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again in the future.UPDATE: The day after the installation, I noticed that my black Manabloc tool was missing and a connection fitting was not replaced. I was asked by one of the workers to use the tool to shut off and later turn on the water supply. I honestly think he put it in his pocket and forgot to replace it. I need the black tool version, not the red version, because I read online that the diamond shape in the tool is a different size. It was the man who gave me the estimate of the job who pointed out the corrosion of the fitting and said that would be included. I called Heritage and an appointment was set up and a serviceman came to the house soon after. I thought this was going to be a quick fix - returning the tool and replacing the fitting, but all he did was take notes and said that someone would get back to me. That never happened. I called the office two weeks later and explained the situation again and the lady told me the computer was down and someone would call later in the day. Nothing. I called one more time the following week and got another lady and she said she would pass the information on to a manager. No reply after more than a week later. It is now obvious to me that Heritage does not intend to resolve these simple items. I'm not a pest or a nag, but have the feeling that once they got my payment in full, the "Service" part of their name went away. That is too bad because I was a new customer and as you can see at the beginning of my review, I was very happy with the quality of the work. The beginning was great but I'm disappointed with the ending. That is why I changed my rating from five stars to three.
The young man who came to the house was very nice and professional. The estimate to install 2 new ceiling fans was outrageous. We supplied two new fans, hardware and scaffolding to reach one of the fans (26’) . Labor to install was nearly $2700.00 for an estimated 4 hours to replace. 2 other companies estimated the same time to install but at a cost of $800.00-1100.00. Went with a competitor. $900.00 and done in just under 2 hours.
