Our boiler stopped working sometime during the night, of course, when the temperature has been so cold. Andy, from Beauchamp Plumbing and Heating responded timely. He worked throughout the day and early evening to solve the problem. We had heat by 6 pm. Thank you Andy!
Can I give negative stars?This used to be an excellent company. Eight years ago they installed a new Boiler - fair price, great product, quality workmanship. They were responsive to any questions, we were very happy with their work.Now 8 years later we have an issue with the condenser dripping; not end of the world, and not complicated, bit needs service. I first started calling 5 weeks ago, and left a message explaining my issue. After no response I called again a week later. After another week, I called again. NO RESPONSE OF ANY SORT.So I stopped by their office (if you're too busy just tell me and I'll go elsewhere). Their office was closed and locked [2 pm on a Tuesday!]. I went to an office next door, and the receptionist there said that Beauchamp had scaled way back and were working out of somebody's house. It turns out that all of my messages had been left with their 'answering service' who then sent emails to.....whomever.If you're not taking business, DO YOUR CUSTOMERS THE COURTESY OF NOT PRETENDING THAT YOU ARE!!!!
I’ve called this business 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks. Each time they take my information and what the problem is with my furnace, every time they tell me “we will call you back to set up an appointment”. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for a call back. I’m not a new customer, I have paid all my bills in the past.At this point I basically have no choice but to call someone else or otherwise I apparently will be waiting an unknown amount of time.
I called them to give me an estimate for maintenance on my furnace. They came and gave me an estimate or $540. I told them to do the maintenance on it. My furnace was working and had never stopped. Just wanted to keep it in good condition. They came back and put some new parts in on a Friday. Friday night the furnace stopped working. I called the next morning and they came out but said it quit because my tank had particles in it. Remember it had never stopped before. Then they sent me a bill for over $1000. They charged me to come and give the estimate because they put in a filter without telling me then charged me to put in new parts in and then charged me double time for coming back on a Saturday ( time and half ) when they had just worked on it 12 hours before. Be careful! Company responded “that I had the wrong company “ but I have the correct company and would be happy to put my invoice on this review but there is no place for pictures. Again. Be careful.
The service provided was exceptional! Amanda went above and beyond with her assistance in scheduling and communication. Her helpfulness made the whole process smooth and efficient. I’m definitely going to continue using Beauchamp for all my plumbing needs. Thanks for the fantastic support! :)
