On September 5, John and his assistant came out on the same day I requested help with a leaking intake valve in the basement. He was very quick and had already diagnosed the problem correctly based on photos I’d sent. In the end he just had to tighten a nut and refused to take payment for his time! I insisted that they take a bit for lunch and will definitely call Tru-view plumbing when we have to replace the whole unit and for other plumbing expertise. Support your local businesses! Very thankful to John and his assistant came to fix the leaking manifold recently. John was so patience and responsive to worrying clients like me. He picked up my call on a Sunday afternoon but he could only come few weeks later. He followed up with quotation and calls next day. Finally John managed to spare sometime next day after he verified the replacement manifold I purchased. Overall the installation of the new manifold took less than an hour. John made sure connections of hot water from boiler to manifold resumed. Before he left, he also responded and recommended other plumbing items in my house. We all appreciated his willingness to come earlier for this plumbing work. That was on the day before my husband was released from hospital after his surgery. John helped to resume hot water supply before my husband came home. Thank you very much again!

Every 6–9 months, I used to have another plumber come by to snake my kitchen drain. It would work for a while, but the clogging always came back. We were looking for a new sump pump system with battery backup to replace our 15-year old pump. After an estimation by a local professional waterproofing contractor, a battery backup sump pump system (Zoeller without WiFi function) including installation would cost over $4k, which is very expensive and way over our budget. Finally, we got our system (Zoeller with WiFi function) from RONA and John installed it for us.
