Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a customer based service. I called for a line clean out from my house to the septic tank on 12-22-25, a length of about 15 feet. After multiple texts and phone calls from Roto Rooter saying that i was next on the list, the tech finally showed up on 12-26-25. Four days after my first call. All he did was poke a hole in the obstruction, he did not clear out the the cause of the obstruction. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes, including unload and load of his equipment. Complete callous and unprofessional follow through. After paying Roto Rooter almost $500 for a shabby job, I had to have another company come out and do it the correct way. They spent close to an hour of snaking out roots that were in the line. I would never recommend or have Roto Rooter back to do anything ever again. Absolutely the worst.
Albert and his helper were both friendly. Helpful and professional! They took all the time, to explain everything and go over future projects with me.Thank you for having such a good team and amazing workers!!
I had a terrible experience with this company but I just got a time to write the review. My shower handle was came off in the middle night. It was 2025-8-17, it was a Sunday. I called this company in the morning, they came in an hour. The young guy replaced the Moen cartridge, the handle worked but no water came out from the shower head. He thought the new cartridge didn’t work, then replaced another one. But no water came out from the shower head either. He had no idea and told me that I had to replace whole shower faucet. He charged me $310.8 for the service, even he couldn’t make water coming out from shower.Ok, I understood he came and spent time, it was for his time. Then I asked the quote for the replacement faucet. He told me it would be $960(including parts +labor+tax) if did the job on next day (Monday), it would be $1200 if I wanted to finish it in the same day. I was shocked. I asked him why is that expensive? He said the job would take 3-4 hours, and the first hour was $239.I was not happy with the price. You already charged me $310.8 and didn’t fix my problem, why would you want to charge another $239 for the first hour? After he left, I called another plumbing company, they came soon. 5 minutes later, the water came out from the shower. I could use my shower again! They only charged me $100.I would never, ever call Roto-rooter anymore, and would never recommend it to anybody. They don’t have enough knowledge to fix the problem and are not worth their charges.
Edwin did a fantastic job for me both last night and again when he came back to finish the job today. He spent his time to thoroughly explain the issue and then patiently went through the various options I had before proceeding. He was totally upfront with pricing and never tried to over sell or up sell me. He worked hard to keep it affordable for me; which I deeply appreciated! He took his time and did the job the right way. He problem solved when he encounterd several barriers and ultimately got the job done! Additionally, he took the time to help me sort out a previous customer service issue and helped take me from a frustrated customer to an extremely happy one with the top notch service he provided.I would recommend Edwin anyday and will request him going forward as long as he's with Roto-Rooter.
I had a main drain back up in the basement that soaked most of the rug. Mike came right to review clean up, as well as facilitate documentation to turn into insurance. He made an appointment for the containment team to come out the very same day to start preliminary work. His knowledge, explanation, and use of technology to document the damage was excellent. Thanks to Mike and Roto-rooter.
