Daine has repaired the kitchen sink and replaced a sump pump in our home. On both occasions his response was quick, his service excellent, and price was very fair. He is personable and efficient and would be our first choice for any other plumbing issues we encounter.
This was my first experience with Daine Spooner Plumbing. I called regarding an issue with my bathroom faucet. They came out the same day and took care of the issue. So courteous and efficient. When I asked about payment he said no charge today. Most places would still charge a service call regardless if the job required minimal time and work. You demonstrate honest business practice. Bathroom renos usually involve lots of sparkly plumbing fixtures, but perhaps even more important than choosing the fixtures, is getting right what's behind the walls and below the floor.We met Daine Spooner during our two bathroom renos earlier this year with Mitchell Contracting. Daine is Brendan Mitchell's plumber of choice and so began our adventure together. We planned to gut both the downstairs and upstairs bathrooms and were, of course, curious about what we would find .... and it wasn't pretty! All the plumbing and vent lines needed to be replaced, even including digging below the cement slab downstairs to fix broken and mis-sized plumbing and vent lines. Daine was quick to plan new routes for all the replaced lines and was careful to tuck pipes out of the away to raise the ceiling in the tiny downstairs bathroom and work with the new floorplan for the larger upstairs bathroom.After he installed the new toilets, bathtub, shower and vanity sinks, it was time for the fun part. Adding all the chrome fixtures definitely made a difference, finishing everything off with some wonderful bling!!Daine is extremely professional and knowledgeable, meticulous in his work and very efficient. He was able to accommodate any changes required throughout the process and always presented a cheerful face... I'll miss his singing and whistling while he worked!!
