Yesterday’s heavy rain caused our basement to flood at around 2 AM. Our tenants sent us photos and videos showing water coming in and leaks in the washroom. We later found out that our sump pump had completely rusted and failed, leaving it unable to push wastewater out to the drainage system.I called Reliance four times and was put on an “emergency list,” but no technician ever showed up. As first-time homeowners who don’t live in the area (we’re based in Toronto), the situation was extremely stressful.Desperate, I searched for nearby plumbing services and found Mike. I have hired Mike numerous times do work around my house. He is my go to both personally and as a suggestion for my own clients when a plumber is required. He is conscientious, meticulous and unlike many trades, neat, on time and doesn’t cancel out on his appointment with a continued reschedule and excuses. This last job he was a part of a complete bathroom renovation of a 1960’s small bathroom, he worked around the other trades when they were all here at the same time and was flexible and accommodating with their need to be in the small space at the same time. If you are looking for a contractor that does what they say when they say they are going to do it when they say they are going to do it. And quality work,.then give Mike a call. You will not be disappointed.
I would rate this company 6 stars if I could! When Mike arrived at the scheduled time my baby was sleeping. He offered to go to another job first and then return after instead of risking waking my baby! So accommodating and caring! He then did a fantastic job, he was quick but thorough and super tidy, not to mention well priced! I will hire Symons plumbing for all my plumbing needs!
