Very nice people to work with , and friendly. They do a good job , and cleanup everything .my new water heater is working great.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Had a minor leak from a toilet, called Boulanger's. Plumber came out and could not fix the leak. They put in a new water closet flange and said I needed to get a professional snake because there was a clog. I called Fletcher's sewar and drain. He came later the same day, took the toilet off, fixed it easily! He said, "I'm not a plumber but I can tell you that whoever did this work did a horrible job. This is a no brainer!" He went ahead and snaked the drain with a camera, all the way to the city sewar. Drains were clear with ZERO blockages. Toilet works great now but this cost me an additional 350.00 on top of the 191.33 I had to pay Bouanger's. Seriously, if the plumber can't do the work that the NOT plumber from Fletcher's than what good are they!?
Today, Re-Bath used Boulanger to install a new toilet as part of a bathroom remodel. Boulanger plumber, Naima Matos, did a fantastic job installing the new toilet. She even repaired work that was not done properly by a prior plumber years ago. She is a hard worker and a definite asset to Boulanger.
Great group of guys.TLDR:Boulanger’s is big and very busy, so if you use them, please be patient. I would not recommend them for anyone in the Hilltowns. Local to Easthampton, yes.Review:Jason, the owner is very personable. We had Boulanger’s do a full new installation of two bathrooms into existing spaces. We also got a quote for Heating and Ventilation. The work done by Journeyman, Josh, was 5 stars. If you get Josh, you will receive A++ work.My 4-start rating is from the management of the project. I’m gonna chalk my experience up to my own poor GC management (I was the GC), however the experience wasn’t improved by Boulanger’s.We are in the Hilltowns so I understand that it’s not most accessible but the further along in the project we got, the harder it was to get them to do a job.As we got to finishing, we had Josh come up multiple times for maybe an…hour…at a time before he was called off to do another job.Regarding their heating and cooling, we never ended up going with them because everything was extremely overpriced. They quoted $30,000 on a heating system for a 700 square-foot apartment.Get quotes!
My furnace shit the bed and within a very reasonable time Boulangers came and installed a new one. They did a great job, restructured old ductwork that was hanging, created a nice hanger set up for the chimney vent, new plenum because old furnace was and size they don’t make anymore and cleaned up everything around it. I was very impressed and I have heat again! With this new furnace, I got heat to the second floor now. I’m assuming the older furnace blower for the past few years wasn’t doing what it needed to And I never got heat to the second floor.Would definitely recommend Belanger plumbing and heating!
