Our boiler went out during the weekend and our regular boiler service provider refused to come because the receptionist couldn’t find us in their system, and therefore that we weren’t eligible for emergency service. I even gave them my customer number from the most recent invoice, but that was not good enough for them. So we called Western Mass Heating and Cooling. They were fast, courteous, and solved the problem. They now have a new loyal customer. We plan to use them for all of our future needs.
When Superior (formerly Osterman) left us without heat during the recent brutal cold snap, Western Mass Heating stepped up when we needed them most.Superior ignored our multiple desperate calls for help—no callbacks, just endless runaround with out-of-state phone reps. Space heaters couldn't keep up as indoor temperatures dropped to 41°F—we were truly in a bind.At 2 a.m., we finally called Western Mass Heating in desperation. They answered in just two rings with a local rep who said, "We'll be there in 30 minutes." Technician Kevar arrived quickly, worked efficiently, showed real sympathy for our situation, and even followed up later to make sure everything was still okay.We're incredibly grateful and will never use anyone else again. Wow, what an amazing company. Jessie helped us out with a Buderus system that was not working properly. She really knows her stuff! Even though she had just had a 21 hour day, she came and rescued me and my house from what would have become a frozen pipe disaster. I appreciate how she was able to troubleshoot and creatively solve what seems to me to be quite a complicated problem It's refreshing to meet someone with so much knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness. I've used Western Mass Heating & Cooling for several years now and they are great! I always purchase an annual mainenance agreement for my gas furnance and AC which helps me keep track of maintence and I get 24/7 emergency service if there is a problem which I haven't had to use yet. They are always very professional, kind, and happy to answer any questions I might have. This month I just called them for plumbing services to clean out kitchen and bathroom pipes and replace my main water shut-off valve which started leaking. The technician did a great job.
Matt, Gianni, Chaas et al did a great job replacing the boiler, manifold, and pumps for our whole-house, 5-zone radiant floor and domestic hot water heating system. It was a complicated project but they did it during the heating season, quickly and efficiently causing minimal disruption. And Collin Cheek as Project Manager was very helpful in making the right choices to solve our problem. We have been very happy working with WMHCP!
