I highly recommend using electrical services with Black Hills. I scheduled online and it was a breeze. There were no hidden fees and the cost for the services provided were reasonable. Jacob reached out to me and was able to arrive a little earlier than expected. He fixed our issue, was curious and respectful of our home and even cleaned up when he was done! Thank you Jacob Ritter and Black Hills.
We have had an excellent experience with Black Hills, Inc so far. Fred C came out to help with the install of a new thermostat but after finding an issue with the compatibility he reinstalled our other one. He did a thorough check of the furnace at my request and gave me so much helpful information. Answered every single question i had, made somw reccomendations etc He suggested based on thr 26year old HVAC system that we have in our new home we sit down with a tech and go over what we may want. He was so kind and so helpful.Alex M came next day to sit down with us to discuss what we are looking for. Like Fred, he was very kind, easy to talk to, funny and well informed. He went over all our options, addressed all our concerns and answered every single question we had. He even looked at our generator and a wall outlet and wil be sending a seperate quote for that.He got us scheduled right away for the HVAC system install. I can update later on how that goes but I just wanted to shout out both those men as they were both highly professional, kind, informative and thorough. We feel great about choosing to do business with Black Hills, Inc.
Brian was amazing, I had a very sensitive home situation with a homeowner that my clients were purchasing and needed bids. He came into the home understanding the sensitivity of the situation, handled it with care and compassion. Thank you Brian for providing the service and care that we needed. Thank you David for also providing the best level of care and understanding when you had to come in and also give bids as the sales rep. Both guys are top notch! Always love working with your company.
Hired to flush slow draining driveway pipe. Quoted $1500 for hydrojet service. Technician then refused to flush line due to existing type of pipe. Only option offered was replacement drain pipe, costing $4500. Technician was hand digging the drain field. Since it was nearly noon on a short day I urged him to start next day to avoid being rushed. Tech "guaranteed" work finished "before dark". I asked how much damage to expect was told "you will notice there was a trench".Unbeknownst to me he had ordered a large backhoe to do the job, not the small ditching machine I thought appropriate. Excavating badly damaged the root system of the large shade tree that graces our lawn, I expressed concern to be told " tree has lots of roots". As a former arborist I recognize the peril of such drastic damage.Little effort was made to mitigate impact to our property, border blocks thrown carelessly on existing plantings, spill dumped widely, turf buried in mud. Trench was mostly filled in an hour after dark, I stated that the project was very poorly restored and was told that he "thought it was pretty good considering the time frame". Remember that I had requested a full day for the work. The company has offered to send the same plumber out next week to work on the damage, but I have little faith in a worker that reminded us several times that he :is not a landscaper". I appreciate the offer but will hire a local service, as I am 76 year old disabled veteran and can't do this work myself.Photos show damage to lawn, plantings, and extent of support and feeding roots destroyed.
Had a leak noticed it early morning Thursday. Same day I reached out to several local Plumbing companies. I heard back from Black Hills promptly and got an appointment scheduled that very same day!! Bryan Palmen my technician was friendly, professional and did a great job for me! They noticed the leak was from an old faucet so I had them replace both of them for me. Fair pricing, timely response to customers, professional staff and quality work!! Thank you Black Hills!
