Plumbing Today

We have used plumbing today for a lot over the years and the few times we went elsewhere showed us how good we have it here. We typically have Jesse come out and is incredible. Always explains things to me, doesn't talk down to me (other service providers do often), and got his work done efficiently. I didn't catch the name of the most recent guy who came out but living in an old house with original plumbing we have a lot of problems pop up. Plumbing today always gets us in quickly, for a fair price, and have great guys working for them.

I had a leak in my basement and as an inexperienced homeowner, I was worried about it being a busted pipe. It ended up being a busted fridge line. The guy who came inspected and didn’t even help me move my fridge out as he was watching me struggle. Then when I was able to move it, the line came up and water was spraying everywhere. The guy just stood there trying to talk to me as I was scrambling to get a towel. He didn’t even shut off the water. As mentioned before about my inexperience, I had no idea where to shut it off until it was after the fact of agreeing to service that he showed me. However that was about an hour later after he went to grab materials and such so my water was soaking up in the towel the whole time. In hindsight, I really should’ve done it myself. At the time, as water was spraying everywhere, I felt pressured to get it done and ended up paying nearly $900 just for this simple thing that I could’ve done myself for a fraction of the cost. For $900, not helping move my fridge, and letting my water run all over, this was not worth it. My advice to everyone: just do it yourself! Make time and watch YouTube unless it’s electrical related. Don’t give these companies any business! Got ripped off because of my ignorance and inexperience. Lesson learned and never again. UPDATE: After posting my original review, I considered the matter closed and intended to move on. I had already paid for the service and was not seeking further communication. However, after my review posted, additional communications from the company occurred and I made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve my concerns directly and later through the Better Business Bureau (BBB). On June 9, the company responded to my complaint by stating that what I described "falls well below our standard of service and professionalism." Despite that acknowledgment, no refund, adjustment, service credit, corrective action, or other customer-facing resolution was ever offered. I later spoke with Tony from management and was told my concerns would be discussed internally with technician John. No actual resolution was ever proposed. Later on, I posted my review. The following morning on 6/16, Tony called and left a voicemail. Some time later, before I could return Tony's call, owner Ken Pringle became involved and called multiple times in a short period before I was able to return Tony's call. He left a voicemail stating that he "highly suggested" I answer and that the company would "let the pieces fall where they may." It is worth noting that I had never spoken with or corresponded with Ken prior to that point. As a customer, I found the tone of that voicemail unnecessary, confrontational, and unprofessional, especially considering it was my first interaction with the owner and I had not refused communication. Because of that interaction, I requested that all future communication be conducted in writing. Another frustrating aspect of this experience was obtaining an official invoice. Despite requesting one during my efforts to resolve, it was not provided until more than 3 weeks after the service and only after the BBB complaint process was underway. I then pursued resolution through the BBB. During that process, the company maintained that no refund or adjustment would be offered, characterized my complaint as "fraudulent" and "malicious," and stated that it had retained counsel and would seek fees and penalties against me. At the same time, it later characterized its earlier statement that my experience "falls well below our standard of service and professionalism" as merely standard acknowledgment language. I gave the company every reasonable opportunity to address my concerns directly and through the BBB process before reaching this conclusion. I stand by my original review. The true measure of a service company is not how it handles a routine job, it is how it responds when a customer raises a concern. I encourage prospective customers to read not only the reviews, but also the company's responses to criticism and decide for themselves.

Jesse is amazing! He walked me through everything on my unit and what to look for so I can do some preventative care myself. With his professionalism, I referred him to one of my clients who he saved $5,500! Jesse is a good, honest HVAC guy that has the client's best interests in mind 100% of the time.

At 6 PM I discovered my toilet was leaking water onto the floor. I called Plumbing Today and within a few hours, they had cleaned up the mess, fixed the broken pipes, replaced the toilet and undid a clog. Talk about quick service! Marshall did an AMAZING JOB!

I had a clogged bathroom sink, and they removed the clog and cleaned my drain line. They were very friendly and professional and Marshall did a fantastic job. Also, he was super quick to arrive the same day within an hour after I first called with an issue, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Don't call for plumbing. Called for a scope of discharge line. Charge me $550. Never received the video of the scope. Line still has a plug. Tech said he was behind on calls so had to go. He spent half the time charge driving back to get the part he "thought he had in the truck." So I lost a day of pay, still have a plugged line. Got charged for services not received. And I am out over $500. and right back where I started...looking for a plumber.

Marshal was so amazing!!! When he got there my clogged sink unclogged but he stayed and cleaned it out he took my cleaning products from underneath the sink after he asked me :) He also put everything back under the sink when it was done.. He’s very professional and answers any questions. Very polite:)

Tony provided great service to our house call for drain cleaning and outdoor pipe repair. He took the time to scope all that was needed, showed up prepared, and got the job done while explaining the process and for proper maintenance. It made me feel comfortable and confident as a homeowner knowing the source of our issues and how to avoid future drain issues.

I had a portion of my main sewer line replaced and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. Main line repairs can be a big, messy job, especially when jackhammering basement floors, but they made the process as smooth and minimally disruptive as possible. They worked quickly, kept everything organized, and were great to communicate with throughout the job. It’s not often you can say plumbing work was a pleasant experience, but this team was reliable, respectful of my home, and did quality work. Highly recommend them if you need plumbing work done.

This plumbing crew is phenomenal. I don't know that I've ever seen people work harder than what I saw during a two-day period (including one very late night) when this team was helping with an emergency sewer line repair. I hate plumbing problems, but the Plumbing Today team has been very helpful every time I have had one. I strongly recommend them.

Jesse showed up right on time this morning. Diagnosed the problem with the furnace and did a great job. Prices were very reasonable and explained everything he had done. I highly recommend this company. Don't let the name confuse you... They know HVAC.

I had a really great experience working with Jesse to check my furnace. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed out some rust on the heat exchanger and suggested checking on it in the spring when I have someone come out to check the air conditioning unit. I jumped at the chance to sign a service agreement for my HVAC. Highly recommended!

As an electrician who drove a service truck for 35 years, I appreciate seeing someone who is extremely efficient, as Jesse was. This helped keep the service cost down to a reasonable price. He seemed very knowledgeable and has a good personality.

The experience working with Plumbing Today was amazing. We worked with Carson to have shutoff valves put in for a future remodeling of a couple of rooms in our basement. He was polite and professional and completed the job quickly. He provided a reasonable price upfront and did not try to upsell us on anything, which I can't tell you how much I appreciated. He went as far as answering a handful of questions I had which were unrelated to the work he was here to do. We will most certainly use Plumbing Today in the future for all our plumbing needs.
