Recent reviews often mention technicians arriving on time, explaining the issue clearly, and resolving problems on the first visit. Call handlers are described as helpful in arranging quick appointments. Several customers highlight thorough diagnosis, including identifying causes missed by prior visits from other providers. A smaller number of reviews note frustrations tied to HVAC scheduling, which is separate from typical plumbing calls.
Mike was on time, he beat me to the house and worked quickly. He was patient and trustworthy. He has been out to our home before and provided great service then too. I would give him 10 stars if I could.
I’d give them 6 stars if I could. After two visits (and two charges) from another plumbing company in town, I felt the work was incomplete and called Mission. The technician Deshawn arrived on time. He was thorough in diagnosing the issue and found the prior company never cleaned out the main stack line. Within an hour he diagnosed and fixed the issue. I’ll be going with Mission here on out as long as I’m in Overland Park.
We were without air conditioning in July in Kansas for 10 days because of Mission. Think about that affecting your children and pets. Our house got up to 95 degrees at 10PM (and 108 during the day) while we waited for these clowns to respond. Sleeping with a fan on you was requisite, and it was so hot our freezer could not keep food cold."Ultra Heating and Cooling" was great, five stars from me. They sold that company to now Mission Heating and Cooling (lol and Plumbing, okay). We had Ultra install our A/C but it only lasted two years. In those two years, Ultra was sold out to Mission. I called Mission the day our A/C went out and had to call them every day until Day 3 I finally got a tech out.Mission said they would order the part to fix it (relatively cheap)I called every. single. day. and did not get an estimate for when the part would arrive, did not get any updates, was told they "would call me back" but then they didn't and I had to call.Day 8, I called Town and Country HVAC, they were out the same day, did the same inspection, ordered the part the same day, and it arrived in two days. They did the install for a whopping $50. Thanks T&C..It is six months later and they still have not called to tell me the part has arrived, no follow-up. Don't even bother leaving a comment mission, I will not call you to "resolve" anything, you had your chance.
Very honest company. Monday we had them out for heating and instead of saying that I needed a whole new unit he came in looked at the situation then was able to the diagnose it. Then to insure his decision he had his senior technician just to make sure the diagnosis was correct because it was an expensive diagnosis when that technician came out he was able to fix the component that the other technician was saying needed to be replaced saving me from having to purchase a whole new unit and then on Wednesday we had the plumbers from this company out and they were very honest. Very diligent worked fast. Explain everything to me as they were going in a way I could understand. This company definitely does not look to just sell product. They genuinely have your best interest. I would recommend them to very one!
The woman at Mission Plumbing who answered my call was wonderful and set up an appointment the same day. I was so relieved.Jesse arrived from Mission Plumbing that day to let me know what I needed. He was courteous, professional and checked a lot of pipes from the upstairs bathroom down to the basement. He was great.Nathan arrived the following day and installed new plumbing for me .He repaired a toilet flange that started leaking under my bathroom tiles and into my basement. He stayed from early morning ‘till afternoon, replacing all necessarypipes.Nathan was polite, answered my questions and worked hard all day never taking a break. I wish I could describe in detail all he did, but, I’m 70+ years old and don’t know much about plumbing.I’m so thankful for all of Nathan’s hard work and can never thank him enough.Because of my age, and because I’m on a fixed income, the price seemed high.Everyone from Mission Plumbing treated me with respect and came within hours of my phone call.Nathan is an ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT plumber.Thank you!
