Tiger replaced my water heater in March of 2023. I just started having issues with it not heating water and it was throwing up an error code. I called them and set an appointment to have someone come out and look at it. I thought it would be under warranty but they told me the warranty for this model is 6 years for the tank, 1 year parts and labor. Since my issue was not with the tank itself, it would not be under warranty.The tech came on time and diagnosed that the issue was likely a faulty control valve. He quoted me about $1400 for parts and labor to replace it.The price seemed high to me so I called a different company who looked up my model # and advised me the part is still covered under warranty and they had it in stock. I would only have to pay for labor.Previous to this, I would have given them 3 stars. Their work has been fine and the techs are alway courteous and professional. They seem to be more interested in selling you on their yealry maintenace program than anything else. On that I blame the companies management, not the techs themselves.Tiger either intentionally misrepresented the warranty terms for my water heater, or just didnt know any better. Either way I'll be taking my business elsewhere. To anyone considering using Tiger, I would recommend you get a second opinion before signing any contracts.
Do not go with these guys. They came out last Saturday and it is now the Friday after almost 7 days later. They took 250 and still left me with no shower or toilet. Said my pipes are collapsed yet they are impossible to get ahold of and have not provided me a quote or amy next steps. The phone number the tech gave me for his manager doesn't even work. This has been a terrible experience
Gale was right on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He provided several options during our estimate and gave an honest opinion about recommendations best suited for our needs as opposed to simply pushing us towards the highest cost option. Would recommend having him come out any time.
Had such a great experience with Paul Rantisi from Tiger Plumbing and Heating. He fixed the motor blower in my furnace and took the time to explain everything so I actually understood what was going on. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable too. It’s nice to come across someone who’s honest and really knows what they’re doing. Definitely recommend Paul and Tiger!
Gale was friendly, professional and informative. He was at my house doing an annual inspection. He suggested a duct cleaning since I just moved to my house a couple months ago, without being pushy at all! I’m so happy I got it done because they really needed cleaning and I fell like I have clean air now.
