My son had his shower panel leaking. he called these guys to come fix it. the guy quoted $60 to diagnose the issue (which is more than fair). once he arrived, he said it would be $575 to replace the cartridge. that seemed pretty expensive, but agreed to do it. he started to do the work and quickly realized he could not get the handle off to replace the cartridge. So then he said we would have to replace the entire shower panel. he said it would be $750 in labour plus $800-1000 for the new shower panel. wow! my son called me and I did a quick home depot search and saw new shower panels were like $250-300. so we declined them to go any further. they did not charge any additional, so that was good.My son then went and bought a new shower panel. He called someone else, who charged less than half in labour and It took that guy less than an hour to put in the new shower panel.I can't comment on if these guys do good work or not, because they really didn't do anything, .... But pricing seemed very excessive. It seemed like either they were trying to take advantage of my son, who didn't know any better? or maybe they legit didn't know how much time it would take and guessed at how much a shower panel was? I don't know ????At the end of the day, we saved well over $1000. So, in any case, do your research.
