Paid good money to get a new Carrier furnace installed in October 2025. Was suppose to have grounding wiring done for gas lines. Electrician tech came out same day when furnace installed to do wiring and install the grounding wiring. Because he arrived hours late used the excuse that didn't have enough wire with him to finish job and would squeeze us in over the next few weeks. Over 4 months later we have not heard s thing on finishing job, yet already paid to have it done. Also electric did not pass inspection because of wrong connectors used. I contacted our salesman on this right away and they said they will fix it so can get it inspected again. Over 4 months on this and never heard back again. Had some over heating issues within first week of install. Tech that came out to fix was great and he said they installed the humidifier to close to furnace and that it should be moved. Well he said he will talk to our salesman, and guess what, we again never heard back. So over 4 months later we are still waiting for the job to be completed and corrected for inspection. Not sure anymore if we made the right choice with Tonna. They claim they do it right the first time, clearly that wasn't the case here, and the job was paid for up-front.
Quality of work was good, but I came home to pools of standing water in my basement. I understand things happen and my basement is unfinished but I would assume a wet vacuum could have easily cleaned up most of the mess. Figure when you pay a premium price it includes cleaning up after the work has been done.
Mr. H Shultz completed my plumbing inspection and did a terrific job. I didn't feel rushed and he explained everything to me very well then offered what services he suggestes be completed. I also asked him about rerouting all my water so it would be soft and he was able to complete the job extremely fast and at a price I would have probably spent more by doing it myself. Awesome company even better employees!
The two gentlemen were very friendly and courteous. They did a great job installing my new water heater. I definitely recommend Tonna Mechanical. Service Choice arranged the job with Tonna and I couldn’t be happier.
Hard retro fit of entirely new HVAC system in a house built in 1896. Fantastic crews, very prompt arrival and very professional. Worked hard the whole 3-1/2 days they were here. Highly recommend Tonna for both plumbing & HVAC work. You get what you pay for in their case. Some before, during and almost complete pictures . System works better than I’d had hoped for.
