We recently had this company come out to evaluate low water pressure issues in our 20-year-old well system. Unfortunately, the visit felt more like a sales presentation than a diagnostic service call. The technician arrived with an iPad ready to discuss “packages” and quoted us approximately $21,000 for a full new system, but was unable to clearly explain what was actually wrong with our current system.There was no clear diagnosis provided — no specific failing component identified, no explanation of test results, and no detailed reasoning for why a complete system replacement was necessary. When making a major financial recommendation like that, homeowners deserve a thorough explanation and transparent evaluation.We were hoping for troubleshooting and repair guidance, not an immediate full-system sales pitch. Based on this experience, we will be seeking a second opinion. It would have been great for a true diagnosis, but instead we got a total sales pitch. No repairs, just total replacement. The “salesman” just wanted to know “what package will you be choosing?” I disagree with 1 star and give them a negative 5 star review. They wasted my time. Bad business will get you in the end.
My experience with platinum plumbing has been phenomenal- isom gerty specifically is incredibly hard working and goes above and beyond to do excellent work with high attention to detail and great customers service. He replaced my kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, and shower head and each project was done well from start to finish and he took the time to clean up thoroughly afterwards. It was so helpful and everything works so much better now!
