Recent reviews highlight fast scheduling, clear communication when technicians are en route, and knowledgeable, courteous plumbers. Many customers mention same-day water heater replacement and successful boiler/heating-related repairs. Some reviewers felt pricing was on the higher side for smaller jobs, while workmanship and cleanup received positive notes overall.
Edit: they offered a partial refund as a resolution in response to this reviewPros: they were able to schedule us pretty quickly for a non-emergent issue, communicated well when the plumber was running behind in the morning, and the plumber was very friendly while at the house doing the workCons: we're left feeling taken advantage of and ripped off. After the plumber came and diagnosed the issue we were having, they offered us 3 solutions- good, better, best. After we got over the sticker shock of the prices, we decided to go with the "better" option ($3000) and we were assured "the 'better' option will fix the issue' the 'best' option will *definitely* fix the issue". He also added that he works in real estate himself and the "better" option is the one he'd also go with in this situation. So we felt confident in our decision. Before even starting the work he then noted one of our shut off valves wasn't working properly and offered to change it for $500. My husband told him no, as this whole project was already costing a lot more than anticipated. So then he just decided to change the valve at no extra cost because it was going to make his job easier. Was he doing us a favor, or was he trying to squeeze as much money out of us as he could, I guess we'll never know. Well, after changing the part our problem still existed. And as a bandaid solution, the plumber just kept turning up the maximum temp of the water in the house. Which we agreed to in the moment, as he had been at our house all day long and we had to get our kids to bed at this point. But after living with it for less than a week we called them back, the water being so hot was dangerous especially with young kids. This is when we start getting push back, that the work was done properly, "you have hot water now, don't you?", and that the plumber is said he fully recommended the "best" option and we decided not to go with his recommendation. Then they said they could replace the part that was offered in the "best" option for an additional $1300 (a discount from $1700). This didn't sit right with me, as our problem was clearly misdiagnosed and the part they replaced didn't actually need replacing since it didn't resolve the issue we were having. I requested to speak to a manager, since we paid them $3000 for no solution, and was told the manager was out of town and I'd receive a call the following Wednesday. And that was several weeks ago. I would not trust this company, their practices are unethical, they'll go back on their word, and will ghost you in the end
Needed a new water heater, and on the same day I called Daffodil, they did an estimate, removed the old water heater, and replaced it with a new one! I wish had contacted these guys sooner for all my previous plumbing needs, top notch!
I noticed the upstairs shower was leaking into the lower level of the house around 8pm one night..Of course, I freak out. Who can I call at 8pm!!?!?So im googling 24 hour plumbers in my area and notice daffodil. I had called them a few months ago to unclog a kitchen drain. I remember them being super nice.So I call. Its past 8pm at this point, The office person picks right up and scheduled me for the next morning! I thought for sure id have to wait a day or two since it wasnt an emergency!Nope! They got me in the very next morning!!!!The plumber, Mike, got to my house in the time window the office game me.He was the nicest man. We actually had a lot of fun chatting while he was at my house. He was personable and understanding. He identified where the leak was coming from and gave me multiple options and price points for the services that would need to be done.He was able to do it all that same day! This guy is a LEGEND!!!!!Cutting dry wall, removing corroded pipes from the 1970s, replacing all the shower fixtures and even swept up the dust with a broom for me!!!Seriously, what plumber even does that!?????It was the least emotionally invasive plumber experience ive ever had. It just felt like I had a long time family friend helping out upstairs!20/10!100% recommend!Mike is THE BEST!the price for everything was extremely reasonable as well!Ill honestly only ever call Daffodil from now on!
I called Daffodil to repair a shut off valve that was leaking on one of my toilets. The appointment was scheduled and took 2 days. They did keep me informed. Raul came to my home. He was very professional and did a great job with the work. Unfortunately, the cost to replace the shut off valve was $857 for a job that took less than an hour. I spoke to another plumber and shared the pic of the work that was done and he told me that Daffodil over charged me. I should have gotten multiple quotes but at the time I just wanted to get the job done. Valuable lesson I’ve learned. Consumers before having the work done get multiple quotes and not to go with one quote like I did.
Next day furnace/boiler service was an A+. Tech Ismael (Izzy) was knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately for me, the repair i needed was more involved than expected, but I have an older heating system. Izzy ordered/grabbed the needed parts and came out two more times and got our heat up and running. Many thanks.
