Great experience with DeHart. I had a main sewer line clog, and Javier arrived and got everything cleared through the cleanout within about 20 minutes. The pricing was exactly what I’m used to and was clearly communicated upfront, which I really appreciated. He was efficient, professional, and had everything back up and running quickly. Would definitely use them again.
I needed a repair to my old kitchen sink faucet that turned out to need a replacement. Matt fixed the faucet enough to use temporarily and was going to schedule me for a new faucet installment later in the week but then he called the office and got the okay to do the installment that day. He drove from Lemmon Valley to pick up a new faucet and back again at no extra charge. The last plumbing company I used billed me an extra hour for their drive time. DeHart has my business from now on. Matt was very pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend him!
Hands down the best plumbers in town. After multiple plumbers charging large amounts and not solving the issue, it was looking like a never ending money pit. But then the Duo of Matt and Javier came and not only found all of the issues, they were able to fixed them same day. DeHart will always be who I recommend to everyone!!!
I must say that I'm highly impressed with DeHart Plumbing, Heating and Air. Michael Machnik visited our house about a month ago to provide us estimates on a new furnace. Machnik is kind, professional, transparent, of high ethical and moral standards, and very understanding. I would also like to mention Grant, Patrick, and Shaun who installed the furnace. They were kind, professional, and very decent people overall. Also a shout out to Eric Dewees who is likewise a very valuable employee of DeHart. Randy Moore, Mike S, are outstanding supervisors and promote high ethical standards for their employees (nice to see supervisors who lead by example). Javier Santiago is also an outstanding, outstanding employee who is kind, knowledgeable, transparent, of high ethical standards, proficient in both HVAC and plumbing, and just such a nice person. Ladies at the front desk are likewise responsive, timely, and have excellent communication skills. If you have any issues whatsoever DeHart will promptly address the issues and make things right. This company is top tier and far superior to their competitors.
THE JOB: Twin tub cast iron sink replaced with new, single tub, stainless steel sink. New disposal unit and Moen faucet to be installed in new sink.Results:1. Marble countertop opening was slightly smaller than new SS sink. Technician jammed new sink into undersized opening and bent/dented rear corner of sink flange when prying out of countertop. Subsequently I had marble countertop cut to sink manufacturers template and purchased a new stainless steel sink ($356).Installation errors:a) technician did not dry-fit sink in countertop opening prior to attaching faucet and caulking the bottom of the sink per manufacturer instructions.b) a non-silicone caulk was used. Manufacture specifies 100% silicone caulk only.c) Caulk was applied to the clip ring and not to the outer rim of the sink per manufacturers instructions.2) New sink installation into enlarged opening:a) Technician did not apply silicone to outer rim of sink prior to installation with clip rings....explanation was "caulk is not required when using clip rings". I had technician remove the sink so that I could apply silicone caulk as per manufacturers instructions.b) Only 6 clip rings were used out of 12 that were required per sink manufacturer instructions. One side of the sink did not have any clip rings at all.c) Technician rotated disposal unit 45° from normal to align discharge pipe with existing P-trap location. This caused the dishwasher discharge trap hose to become kinked which then pinched-off the dishwasher drain pipe from the disposal unit.d) bottom of disposal discharge pipe was not long enough to insert through the P-trap compression ring. Technician pushed the P-trap and drain pipe assembly upwards so that the compression ring would fit just over the bottom tip of the disposal discharge pipe. The following day, with the sink filling with water from the dishwasher overflow stub, the P-trap compression ring popped off of the disposal discharge tube and flooded the kitchen floor and cabinet.
