Recent reviews highlight quick response times, professional conduct, and clear explanations of the repair process. Several customers mention jobs being completed efficiently and in a timely manner. There is also feedback praising persistence with challenging tasks like locating septic systems. A smaller number of older reviews raise concerns about pricing and workmanship, though these are less frequent than positive remarks.
Kyle and Derrick ( not sure the spelling) did amazing fixing our plumbing issues. They responded fast, and got the job done quickly and effectively.
I have been using Erath Plumbing for a few years now and they have always did wonderful work. They fixed what others messed up, listen to what's going on, have always been very professional and courteous.Even though I live in Hamilton, I will always call them if I need to.They will get the job done RIGHT and in a very timely manner.Thank you Erath Plumbing.
Doug and Bill did an excellent job on finding our septic tank. We had a blockage and possibly full tank with no solid idea where it was. It is for a house we bought with no records of it, so, it wasn't any easy job. They ran their camera from inside the house the full length of its ability and didn't get to the tank. They didn't give up, though and finally found it just past that point, which is way beyond where you would expect a tank to be. We are so relieved they persevered, because we were close to abandoning the idea of having the tank pumped, but now we know we can and we have options from them for how to make the system better.
Staff were professional and respectful. They explained the process to fix my issue thoroughly and completed the job in a timely manner. Great company!
Within the span of a week, we engaged the services of Erath Plumbing twice to address issues at our residence – once to rectify an exterior leak and then to extend a gas line for a stove. Regrettably, I was out of town during this period, leaving my wife to handle the interactions with this company. It appears that the company may have perceived this as an opportunity to overcharge and provide subpar service. Our experience with their workmanship was nothing short of disappointing; it exhibited an alarming lack of quality. This lack of integrity was manifest on both occasions, causing doubts to arise about the reliability of this company. A striking example of their substandard work was the incurred 4" x 4" hole in our wall. Rather than employing proper repair methods, they opted for a makeshift solution, using duct tape to reattach the drywall after the first opening.Their handling of the outside line situation also raises concerns. Even though the line was already excavated, necessitating a simple insertion of a T-joint and a couple of couplings, the company went further and cut a 4" segment of pipe beneath the leaking section. This cut pipe housed an electrical wire, which now requires additional repair due to their negligence.Upon receiving the subsequent invoices, the following week, we were taken aback by the exorbitant charges levied upon us. The bills amounted to a staggering sum exceeding $1800, and the supporting documentation was alarmingly lacking in detail. In light of this, my wife reached out to request a more comprehensive breakdown of the charges. Our further investigation, involving a review of our security camera footage for an accurate assessment of time spent, revealed that they were attempting to bill us for over 10 hours, despite the work realistically amounting to a 7.5-hour timeframe. The company failed to provide any plausible justification for the drywall and electrical line damage, nor did they extend an offer to rectify the situation. The combination of their dishonesty and shoddy workmanship has unequivocally eroded any trust we or anyone should have in this company. Consequently, it is with great certainty that we will refrain from engaging in their services ever again.
