RUN AWAY - Wildly overpriced quote for a simple shower drip repair. Tried to scare me and apply pressure to immediately use them. Other 5-star reviews likely fake.Called Mr. Rooter for a dripping shower valve. They quoted $1,850 and padded it with unnecessary work:-$500 to replace two shutoff valves that cost ~$10 each and take minutes.-Pushed to cut a hole in my living room wall for drain access I did not need.-Tried to scare me by saying my basement was at risk of flooding, even though it was a small drip into the bathtub.I declined. Another plumber fixed it in under an hour for a standard call out rate $500 total (parts and labour).After this experience, the wall of 5-star reviews is hard to take seriously. Get a second opinion before agreeing to anything.
We had a sump pump problem and flooding was about to happen and they (Mr. Sheik and Mr. Eric) came out the same day, despite the crappy weather and it being a Friday and we were quite a bit on the outskirts. They called to let us know when they were on their way, so we didn't have to wait around all day. We were beyond stressed and they worked efficiently and confidentially. They gave us options and and talked us through it making sure we understood what was going to be done. They did not leave until they were sure we wouldn't need to worry. They even took care of removing our portable submersible pump and hose from our house that we had been using to avoid a total flood. Which we knew was a pain! They are now our go-to guys 100% and will definitely recommend them to anyone we know!
