Bobby was amazing and so thorough with the system maintenance check up he did for my new AC system. He answered all of my questions (even the silly ones) and was so personable and friendly! Bobby is truly an asset to the Cooper's team and we appreciate you all!
I had used another provider for two years and while they were okay, I needed someone who could communicate with me and keep a schedule. Cooper had gone above and beyond in that.I called on 17 Feb and had an appointment for the next day. Cooper was respectful of my time and worked around my morning commitments. Matt, the technician, called me when he was about 20 minutes away to make sure that we were still good Matt was able to diagnose both the issue with the system as well as give me multiple options for duct work repairs that I needed. We agreed to have the work performed on 19 Feb and he was again on time and professional throughout. I am very pleased with the results and the company. I don’t see myself calling anyone else for any HVAC issues I may have.
When a mysterious leak appeared behind my kitchen sink, I was ready to pack up and move — but Big Zach swooped in like the plumbing superhero I didn’t know I needed. He tracked down the manifold leak hiding behind the wall, fixed it like a pro, and even talked me through every step so I didn’t panic and start Googling “how to live without running water.” Courteous, professional, and patient enough to handle a first-time homeowner on the verge of a meltdown — 10/10 would call again (hopefully not too soon).
The Cooper’s Team is a great group of people working towards one goal for their customers. Worked with Mr. Cawthon and he was able to iron out all of my issues. In no time a great team of 3 members came to my home. The team did a very clean and professional job. They even made sure their work area was spotless before leaving. Thank you Cooper’s Plumbing and air. Thank you Caleb Cawthon for your true caring nature, attention to detail, and eagerness to get things accomplished. I salute to you my friend. Laura thank you for your team coming in and being so professional with the job and loving toward my Emotional Support Animal. I will continue to be a customer because their care was so great.
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We moved into our home almost 3 months ago, and our air conditioner seemed to be working just fine. However, two weeks ago, we noticed that it was unable to keep the temperature down in our home. We hired Coopers to come out and see what the problem was. They let us know that there was a Freon leak that needed to be repaired and it would cost us $6000 to do so. They informed us that we could recharge the Freon and hold off on any repairs or replacements for about a month, and we chose to do that for $350. Four days later, the unit stopped working yet again. At that point, we decided to get a quote from Coopers to replace the entire unit, as it was 13 years old. Mind you, we also got quotes from three other companies. Coopers was the lowest priced at a little over $10,000, however, they were providing us with a York HVAC unit, which seemed to be a good middle-ground piece of equipment. We also appreciated Curtis, the sales representative, who seemed very kind and insisted that most HVAC companies install units improperly, and that would not be the case with Coopers. They also told us that they would be able to install the unit next day, which no other company was able to do. On Tuesday morning, Cooper’s showed up right on time and began to install the unit. 12 hours later, our home was still hot and they were still working on the unit. My husband inquired as to when the unit may be finished, and we were told at that point that there was some kind of a electrical box problem and they would need to order a new part and install it the following day. They installed two pretty disgusting window units (see photos) in our home to hopefully keep things cool overnight. Now we were at Wednesday morning, and a technician by the name of Justin showed up and begin working on our unit. He worked on everything for around 11 hours and finally informed us that he mistakenly did something that caused the unit to “blow” again. He told us that they had a guy needed another part, and was extremely apologetic and kind. He also graciously assisted me in installing another unit in our family room to keep things a little bit more comfortable for us for another hot night. The next day, a manager by the name of Josh showed up to work on our unit. This was the first person in the company that we had poor Customer Service from. No smile, no apologies, no kindness. He simply stated he was going to “try” to repair the unit and he “does not guarantee this will work”. Weird, coming from a “manager” who should be setting the example of exemplary customer service. He was at our home from maybe 9:30am until about 2:00pm when he informed us that he would now need a blower motor and plug in order to get the unit up and running. So he heads to the warehouse. He brings back a blower motor and a used plug from another unit “hoping” this new part would fix the problem but “again, no guarantees”. He worked on the unit until around 6:00pm when he then informed us that they would be returning in the morning with an “expert on this type of unit” and would continue to assess the “problem”. At this point, my husband told Josh “respectfully, I would like you to please leave our property and return only when you’re going to pick up this piece of equipment. We will be hiring another company and if you will not remove your equipment, they will.” Lol I love my husband so much. So at that point, Josh left and the next day around 2:00pm, they called to inform us that they would be picking up everything. Josh and another colleague came to pick up the unit. They were very courteous, as I’m sure they understood how upset we were at that point. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Worst experience EVER and we are STILL hot.
