I hired Roland to help me install a new gas hot water tank to replace my aging electric unit. I found him responsive and willing to engage with me to find the right solution for my needs. He actually spent quite a bit of time talking with me before I actually went ahead with anything, and he wasn't pushy. I especially appreciated that during the install, he was willing to let me watch and learn something, as many contractors don't like that. Now my hot water tank heats very rapidly and will work with no power, as I get tonnes of power outages in the winter. I would have no issue recommending his services to anyone.
Roland did a fantastic job installing our new water heater. Our crawl space has a low overhang and is very difficult to work in, but with a lot of hard work, he found a way to get the job done. Reasonable pricing and very knowledgeable. All in all, we'll be giving Roland a call then next time we have any plumbing needs. Thanks so much!
Roland was a life saver.....not exactly but I didn't have to go next door for a shower anymore. My watertank started to leak at about 9PM Saturday evening. I contacted the phone number I thought was the plumber we used before. Long story short I still didn't have the replacement tank Monday morning. I contacted Island Plumbing at 8 and the tank was installed by noon. Pleasant, efficient, personable. And about $400 cheaper than the first plumber I called. Definitely I'd use them again and reccommend them to my friends.
Our 10-year old hot water tank started to leak, so I called up Roland at Island Plumbing. He had installed our previous water heater so I knew I could depend on him to replicate the job. He was able to come at a convenient time and had the new hot water tank replaced in an hour. Will definitely call him again if I need any hot water or plumbing repairs.
I contacted Island Plumbing late last night when I discovered that our water tank was leaking. Roland was helpful on the phone during our initial call, and made it a priority to make it out the next day to replace our tank. Our tank and the connections were in a very tight spot in our crawlspace, but Roland and his crew were able to figure it all out and get our new tank up and running in just over an hour. I am definitely happy with the friendly and detail oriented service we received from Island Plumbing...and all at a reasonable price. I would recommend Island Plumbing to others requiring plumbing services in the Victoria area.Tim
