This was my first time using Magnolia and I found their service excellent. Demarcus - the technician - explained things really well. His work was meticulous and he cleaned up, even sweeping, after fixing my heat. The repair took longer than he anticipated and he was patient and didn’t rush the job. I’d definitely use them again.
They were responsive. The technician was good and replaced our kitchen faucet but their prices are unreasonably high. They claim they have a fixed price policy in their system. I found out that the Delta faucet installed was $250 and I was charged close to $1000 and that was after I complained. They said they gave me a discount. I checked with two other plumbers in the area and was told the average cost to replace this faucet was between $350 to $650. I contacted them to complain. Two people called and left messages repeating what was said initially which is that they have a fixed price policy. Their labor for less than an hour ended up costing me close to $750. This is too expensive!
Magnolia Plumbing is super responsive, thorough, and provides excellent customer service. We needed their help with a plumbing backup and they arrived the same day we called and were quick to help us diagnose the problem. They are transparent upfront about their service pricing and provide very detailed after action reports to summarize their work. We would strongly recommend!
The magnolia technician was very professional. Thorough completed the repair of the clogged toilet. There were two concerns 1) company policy is that prior to confirming appointment it is a requirement to collect credit card information including CVC numbers, account number, and expiration datewhich was a bit alarming! 2) There was an issue with the $75 waiver of the service charge fee. It is still pending but I have been assured by the company. They will adjust on the billing balance and my credit card The waived charge and deduction of $75 makes the total price for the service reasonable.
Don’t know how things went onsite with the installation at my rental home, but I was charged $624 for an Insinkerator 1/2 power garbage disposal. I have NEVER paid that much money for a disposal and I am awaiting a return call from Joe in the accounts department to explain that price. That’s ridiculous!FOLLOW UP: Rebecca Flores contacted me and I am very happy with her professionalism and explanation of my costs. Her technician was honest and delivered above average service. They have restored my confidence in this company. Thank you goodness b/c it is hard to find a trustworthy plumber. Thank you.
