First of all, there was a lot of miscommunication about when he was supposed to show up we got a message kept on trying to call back saying yes we’re here at home waiting but never heard back. We finally got hold of them and it was past their appointment time. They showed up at 4:15 Pm. My wife went to go answer the door and the dog was barking. My wife was friendly. He just glared at her like she was less than human. He did not wipe his feet before coming in. She started to ask him if he had any booties and he just stalked past her glaring at her as he went to the water heater, which was rattling, and he said he had never seen or heard that kind of problem before. OK so we move onto the next issue. Meanwhile, my wife was trying to talk to him about the issue and he was staring at me right over her head, ignoring her but answering to me. It made my wife and myself feel extremely uncomfortable to be that disrespected in our home. When he started working on the sink it took him a while to figure out how to get the faucet off. When I asked him about the shut off valve handles he said those could not be replaced and that the whole faucet would have to be replaced. A quick online search for parts revealed that he lied about that.After he left I was able to quickly figure out how to remove the faucet handle. He said he would call us back with a quote but never did. Left a message this morning inquiring about the quote and never heard back. It’s now 1:03 PM and I am going to plumbing parts store and fix it my self.Craig waisted our time.We really wanted to support a local business but we would not be comfortable working with this company again
Extremely satisfied with Shields Plumbing! They were able to service us the same day we called to make an appointment. I appreciated the courtesy call we received to let us know they would be arriving within the hour so I didn't have to wait around all day like you do with others. They arrived when they said and quickly got to work and finished the job in a short time. They were polite, professional and left the work area clean. I will definitely use them again and would recommend their service to friends and family.
Noticed a horrible smell and found out my seal was 10 degrees of broke on my toilet! Called Shields up and he was there promptly. Very knowledgeable and his quote easily rivaled the other quotes. All in all, couldn't be happier and will be a return customer.

It was Thanksgiving evening after all the great dinners. We get home and to our dismay the golden throne has decided to balk at all the rich thanks they are about to receive!!!!!After many many arguments with the golden throne, plunger, and spitting water at my brother.We won...... to fight this battle another day... like black Friday!!!!!!We called many plumber plumbers that claimed emergency help and all. Found Shields Plumbing. They also excepted text. I called no answer, but I also tried text.... they replied. We talked promptly on Monday when they returned. They came as promised. They were very professional and I would use them again for any plumbing needs.
