Meares Plumbing installed a Rinnai tankless hot water heater in our home on March 6th 2026 and we were very happy with the whole process, from start to finish. The lead technician was Malik and he was assisted by Joseph. Malik initially arrived at our residence and clearly explained what our options were. No aggressive sales tactics. Communication was excellent, both with Meares and with Malik. I liked how an email was sent to me with a both a photo and biography of the technician that was assigned to us. After I made the decision to move forward with the project, I was told that the installation could be completed the same day. We've had some bad experiences with contractors over the years, but this was a very pleasant one. Everyone we dealt with at Meares was pleasant and professional. Calls were answered immediately and they showed up when they said they would. And Malik and Joseph didn't leave until they clearly explained to me the operation of our new water heater and cleaned up the mess from the install. Good customer service isn't rocket science. I don't understand why all companies can't figure that out.

Completed the installation with-in a few hours, picking up new heather and completed entire unit. had an issue with flooring and they repaired it for me. Totally appreciated their concern to help with this issue and didn't expect them to fix it. Was not very happy with previous plumbing and electrical company, however, was blown away with how fantabulous Dan and Kaye were to me. Am New Longtime Meares Customer.

We had Jay from Meares Plumbing install an iron breaker and a new water heater, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our water quality has improved so much, and the difference is noticeable right away. Jay was efficient, knowledgeable, and very friendly throughout the entire process. Nice when a technician can engage the customer effectively to help diagnose the problem. Some repair folks got no personality and you want them gone ASAP. I recently had a broken sewage pipe in front of my house and contacted Mears Plumbing and Electrical. They were very responsive, sending someone out the next day. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the service technician, Dylan Clarke.
From the start, Dylan carried himself with the utmost professionalism. He clearly explained what he was going to do, walked me through his findings, and even went the extra mile to reassure me that the issue was isolated. His communication gave me complete confidence that I had chosen the right company.
Throughout the process, Dylan kept me updated, explained how the repair would be made, and then executed the work flawlessly. His workmanship was outstanding, and he made sure I was fully satisfied by reviewing everything with me before leaving. He also asked if I had any other questions or concerns, which showed a real commitment to customer service.
On top of that, everything about his approach was professional – from his demeanor to the way his truck was organized and presented. I even called the office afterward to let them know how pleased I was with Dylan’s work. Mears is lucky to have someone like him on their team.
