Meares Plumbing installed a Rinnai tankless hot water heater in our home on March 6th 2026 and we were very happy with the whole process, from start to finish. The lead technician was Malik and he was assisted by Joseph. Malik initially arrived at our residence and clearly explained what our options were. No aggressive sales tactics. Communication was excellent, both with Meares and with Malik. I liked how an email was sent to me with a both a photo and biography of the technician that was assigned to us. After I made the decision to move forward with the project, I was told that the installation could be completed the same day. We've had some bad experiences with contractors over the years, but this was a very pleasant one. Everyone we dealt with at Meares was pleasant and professional. Calls were answered immediately and they showed up when they said they would. And Malik and Joseph didn't leave until they clearly explained to me the operation of our new water heater and cleaned up the mess from the install. Good customer service isn't rocket science. I don't understand why all companies can't figure that out.
Daniel Algie, and Kaye, were fantastic with installing my new hot water heater through TECO. Arrived a day sooner due to a cancellation, with was great. They went above and beyond my expectations. Completed the installation with-in a few hours, picking up new heather and completed entire unit. had an issue with flooring and they repaired it for me. Totally appreciated their concern to help with this issue and didn't expect them to fix it. Was not very happy with previous plumbing and electrical company, however, was blown away with how fantabulous Dan and Kaye were to me. Am New Longtime Meares Customer.
