I had been having trouble with a sump pump in my crawlspace. At times, it wouldn't activate when the pit was full. As a result , I would have water in the crawlspace. The other night, I came home to a sump pump not working and water on the floor of the area. It was after hours, I left a message for Ted and he responded quickly. He explain the cost to swap out the pump and he was at my home about an hour later. He inspected the existing pump, flows, pipe fitting, swap out the pump in a short period of time! I have such peace of mind knowing I have a new sump pump, especially with the amount of melting snow we are expecting this week. I will definitely use Ted's Plumbing in the future!
From the promptness to respond to a call, to the courteousness of every person at Ted’s Plumbing, to finding a solution and executing a perfect, clean job…on time and pricing always in line with the estimate! I have had Ted’s Plumbing work on all kinds of plumbing projects - complex to fairly simple and everything in between and they have always impressed me.Most recently during a major snow storm, I had a pipe leak, in a very tight space that would require a unique skill and technique to repair - they took my call over the weekend, helped me with some quick “band aid” type fixes - as they had to comply with a statewide ban on travel. As soon as the ban was lifted, they were at home, quickly getting the repair work done.I was given an estimate of time and price and both were met…in fact in less time and at a lower cost!Ted’s team is a pleasure to work with - be it Ted himself, Tanner or Bradden. The best of the best. Professional, honest, knowledgeable, fast and clean! They came to me highly recommended and now having done several jobs for me, I whole heartedly recommend them!
We have had Ted's do work on multiple of our rental units and now my own home. After this last issue it will more than likely be the last we use Ted's. We had to have a plumber come out twice and both times he did one insane hack job repairing the fitting and clearing a clog and descaling our pipes. The original line was never snaked or descaled as the clog showed back up the moment he left. They returned actually fixed the leak and used the correct piping because everything was leaking days later.Found today that both my water lines were left finger tight which is wonderfully professional. They wanted me to call a third plumber to have the city/sewer team unclog my drain. I travel for work and am insanely busy - after paying Ted's 1500 to just do this simple work. I had to fix my own plumbing, and then jet my own lines and clear the clog myself. I will never pay Ted's a dime again.
The field guys are professional and seem experienced. The office manager, Stacy, has a bad attitude and their pricing is outrageous. Teds has done routine maintenance work for us and I have requested pricing for larger-scale renovation work. There are plenty of other experienced plumbing and heating pros out there. It seems like Teds has a lot of loyal customers. Either they don't understand plumbing costs or Ted's is gouging new customers.
Ted's is fantastic. Have used them for several jobs in the last five years. Each time, they have been responsive, responsible, and professional. Can't say enough good things about them. Everyone has been great to deal with and generous with their time in answering questions and exploring options. They have thawed frozen pipes (and recommended solutions!), replaced plumbing fixtures, installed a hot water heater, and done much more through the years. They are prompt with their estimates and their work, always explaining if there will be anything out of ordinary in expected timing. They are upfront on pricing and explain their work in ways that a layperson can understand! Ted, Tanner, Dan, Caden, Stacy, Susie - everyone I've dealt with, are people I've enjoyed working with. I recommend them without reservation!
