They either don't know what they're doing, or are intentionally doing it wrong We have been having pressure, flow, suction, and other random issues ever since it was installed - including the creepy crawler connection Come to find out after years of the filter housing's bursting and the above issues, finally had someone look at it, and it's all incorrect. The salt cell is mounted vertically, highly not recommended by manufacturers for gassing reasons. The pipes go from 1 1/2" to 2", to 1 1/2" to 2", to 1/2" to 2", to 1 1/2" multiple times from the skimmer to the pump to the filter to the solar to the salt cell to the return - causing a huge pressure fluctuation and resistance - which finally got that figured out as being the cause to our filter housings bursting and/or our filter grids to prematurely fail. Their records are very bad as well, with very basic information at most about your system, pool, and even receipts 100% AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unless you like spending thousands per year on stuff that should last much much longer.
