YouTube has numerous videos on what to consider regarding design and functionality. The top ten features and regrets. Regardless of which one you look at, you will find commonality among them. However, the #1 decision or choice you must make is the builder or company. This is a significant investment for you as well as an opportunity for companies that may have little or limited experience. You should thoroughly research your potential builder. Some builders are not licensed or accredited in the state of Texas. Upon completion, they move on or no longer retain a relationship with you. Lord help you if there are issues after the pool is complete and the money has been given.My pool builder was ACCENT POOL in Arlington, Texas. They have been around for years and if you check, you will find they have a solid reputation. You do not have to ask for references; they will gladly give them to you. My pool was built in 2022. I am an EXTREMELY SATISFIED and happy customer of ACCENT Pool. This company and their team are top notch. From the designer to the scheduler to the dig crew to the spray crew, admin, management and what have you. I got to know them all. Personable, professional, courteous, respectable, responsive, clean, and tidy and most of all effective at communicating—what, when, how, why. I cannot tell you some of the “stupid questions” I asked. Hey, I am the customer! During the design phase I had the designer do numerous design iterations. Then I deferred the decision only 3 months later to say, OK, I want to go forward now. Not a problem. Glad you are comfortable, they said. The dig crew is IMPRESSIVE! They are dirt artists. When they got done, I could see the pool design—albeit dirt. Towards the middle of the build, I did have an issue with a cracked brick on the side gate walkway, it got fixed right away. The team and crew were so friendly and fun. Maybe it was the snacks and drinks I brought them so I could “supervise” the work. The crew cleaned up every day. I was so happy with my decision to use them. Even better was the post install experience. Now mind you, my pool is not maintained by ACCENT. However, I would call ACCENT from time to time when I needed help with something or have questions. Mr. Noe Maldonado is THE BEST. He responds to all my questions, sends his techs out to review/resolve issues--and he is funny as all get out. I will never forget the first winter freeze. The pool kicked on, waterfall flowing and fountain spurting—I panicked. He called me right away to explain it is just your freeze protect kicking in. Oh yea, I knew that lol. Point is, having an ongoing positive relationship with your builder will enhance your enjoyment, knowledge, and satisfaction of your pool for years to come.There are good pool builders in this area. Price and size vary, but no doubt about it, ACCENT is in the Top 5. You will not go wrong with them. It has been a wonderful experience and a great relationship… and my pleasure writing this review.
Accent Pools was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we could not be happier with our Pool. From the start with working with Tom, he was amazing to help us through the process and all the months while building our home and helping us design our pool. To Mike, & David and all the crew during the building process. Even after all complete, Oscar and our cleaning guy Tanner with Accent is always on top of things and communication is absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a Pool build look no further! Accent Pools is definitely the best, and they are dedicated to making your outdoor backyard dreams come true! We recommend to anyone looking to building a pool!
We absolutely love our pool and are so happy and satisfied that we chose Accent Pools! It has been one year now since our pool was built and I just want to say that Accent Pools is by far the best pool company! They started construction on our 30x15 heated pool on January 9 and they performed our pool start-up on March 9, about 8 weeks later! Accent Pools was at our house only 16 times for one reason or another during that 2 months, the rest of the time was for waiting on things to dry, be inspected, etc. Please understand you may not have a similar fast experience, but I just wanted to point out how efficient they were with our pool build. Tom was very attentive with the details of our pool design as well as the deck they installed too. Meghan was very efficient and timely with communication of what was going to be happening and when. We still use Accent Pools til this day for our weekly pool maintenance. If you’re in the market for a pool construction company, this is your sign to look no further!
After some pretty uneducated and scary experiences looking for a company to do a pool renovation, I lucked out when my next door neighbor recommended Accent Pools. Our sales person, Abel, was amazing and did an excellent job coordinating the project from start to finish. Abel was an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable regarding the pool renovation business. Kim in the office was very helpful and knowledgeable as well, walking me through the payment process and answering questions along the way.I will recommend Accent Pools in the future.
